Tyler Bate: “Not Injured. Waiting…” – Tyler Bate has finally offered a brief but pointed comment on his current WWE status, addressing growing speculation about his absence from RAW and SmackDown programming in recent months.

The 28-year-old former NXT United Kingdom Champion took to Instagram today to share a new photo of himself along with a simple caption that read: “Not injured. Waiting…”

Despite not being featured on WWE’s main programming lately, Bate is reportedly healthy and ready to compete. His message confirms that he’s not sidelined due to injury, putting to rest any rumors of a physical setback. This comes after he suffered a torn pectoral muscle in 2024, which kept him out of action for a significant stretch. He returned in March during WWE’s UK tour, teaming up with longtime ally Pete Dunne in a losing effort to The New Day on RAW.

Since that brief reunion, Bate has largely been relegated to under-the-radar appearances, wrestling only on WWE Main Event and competing in the 2025 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania weekend.

Bate, who joined WWE as a teenager and became the inaugural NXT UK Champion in 2017, has remained a fan-favorite due to his dynamic in-ring style and partnership with Dunne. Together, they form New Catch Republic and are officially listed as part of the RAW brand.

While no creative direction has been announced for Bate or his tag team, his short post signals that he’s eager to return and waiting for the right opportunity — or for WWE to make the call.

Fans will now be watching closely to see if WWE has any plans to reintroduce Bate to RAW in the coming weeks.
