Update on TNA Visa Issues Ahead of Tonight's iMPACT

Update on TNA Visa Issues Ahead of Tonight’s iMPACT – TNA Wrestling appears to have resolved its recent visa problems, but the delays still affected talent trying to reach tonight’s show. Several international wrestlers missed last week’s IMPACT and Genesis events because their paperwork was not completed in time, creating noticeable gaps on television and pay-per-view.

Among those unable to travel were X-Division Champion Leon Slater and Dani Luna. Luna had been scheduled to challenge for the Knockouts World Title at the Genesis pay-per-view, but her absence forced changes to the card. The situation raised concerns about how long the visa issues might continue to impact upcoming events.

More clarity came during Thursday’s edition of Wrestling Observer Live. Co-host Lance Storm, who also works behind the scenes as a producer for TNA Wrestling, confirmed that his visa was finally approved on Wednesday. However, the timing still prevented him from traveling to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for tonight’s show.

“The good news is visas came through, finally,” Storm explained. “But they came through yesterday evening.”

Storm said the approval arrived too late for him to make travel arrangements, meaning he will miss the current run of events. He added that while some other talents may have been able to arrive, not everyone was so fortunate.

“I will remain home this loop,” Storm said. “Others may have managed to get in but, at least, the visa issue is behind us and we can move forward.”

TNA is scheduled to tape future episodes of IMPACT on Friday night at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque. These tapings are important for maintaining momentum after the disruption caused by missing talent. With visas now reportedly approved, the company hopes for a smoother schedule going forward.

The next live event currently advertised by TNA is No Surrender, set for February 13 in Nashville. That show is expected to feature a fuller roster, assuming no further travel complications arise.

Dani Luna also addressed the situation on social media, posting on X that she was not in Albuquerque. Her update confirmed that at least some wrestlers were still affected, even after the visa situation was officially resolved.
