• Vince McMahon Was Against Edge Getting Physical At SummerSlam 2019

As we noted during our SummerSlam 2019 live coverage, WWE Hall of Famer Edge made his return to WWE programming during the SummerSlam 2019 Kickoff Show and laid out Elias with a Spear.

According to Brad Shepard, Vince McMahon was against this move, but Edge & Elias managed to change Vince’s mind:

“I’m told it took a lot of convincing by Edge and Elias for Vince McMahon to allow Edge to do the Spear. Edge was not medically cleared for action and obviously Vince doesn’t want legal issues.”
