Wardlow to MJF: You’re Still Just a P*ssy I Squashed – Wardlow has shared his thoughts on Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s (MJF) latest presentation.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Wardlow commented on a new shirt for MJF, suggesting he’s tired of Max trying to co-opt his style. Wardlow stated that MJF is attempting to embody the persona of the “270 lb monster” he wishes he could be, expressing a mix of pity and frustration, and emphasizing that the disrespect has gone on long enough.
Wardlow originally entered All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as the enforcer for MJF. Their partnership eventually fell apart, leading to a dominant victory for Wardlow over MJF at AEW Double or Nothing in 2022. However, much of the post-match discussion was centered around MJF’s off-screen antics and speculation about his future with AEW.
MJF later captured the AEW World Championship, a title he lost to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End 2023, with Wardlow, having joined Adam Cole in the Undisputed Kingdom, playing a role in the title change. Despite the divergent paths their careers have taken, and Wardlow’s challenges in maintaining a consistent main event presence, it’s clear that his decisive victory over MJF in May 2022 remains unmatched. Notably, Wardlow has not had a rematch with MJF since that encounter.
