From the moment she stepped into the ring, it was evident that this was a different Wendy Choo than fans had seen before. She debuted a new persona characterized by darker music, eerie makeup, and a more intense demeanor.

Choo’s transformation was on full display in her match against Brinley Reece, where she showcased a newfound aggression. She secured her victory by locking in a submission hold, putting Reece to sleep.

This match marked Choo’s first appearance on NXT TV since January 2023. Although she continued to compete at NXT live events and NXT Level Up tapings until May 2023, she missed nearly a year before making her return at the NXT Level Up taping on April 30. Since then, she has participated in two NXT live events, culminating in her impactful return to NXT TV.
