Bischoff then aired his frustrations with the first 15 minutes to “iMPACT” on January 15, as he shared the problems he had with Styles’ promo and the opening video package that welcomed fans into the new era of TNA.
“My bigger issues were really with the format of the show … I loved the open until I started not loving it as much. It went 20, 30 seconds too long,” Bischoff claimed. “I think they went right from that open to AJ if I’m not mistaken. Okay, that I kind of got, I understood the why of it all. I don’t think it was really as well scripted as it could have been. It wasn’t as well delivered as it could have been. It was okay, but AJ’s capable of so much more.”
Following the Styles promo, Bischoff explained that the show’s momentum completely tapered off and that the entire broadcast was not well produced. He also criticized TNA’s camera work for the episode and feels that in addition to the poor production work, the creative direction needs to be improved as well.
