Will Ospreay Returns at AEW Revolution After Six-Month Absence

Will Ospreay made his long-awaited return to All Elite Wrestling during AEW Revolution after being out of action for several months due to a neck injury and surgery.

Ospreay had not competed since AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, where he was attacked and written off television by members of The Death Riders. The angle served as the storyline explanation for his absence while he underwent surgery and began his recovery.

After more than six months away from AEW programming, Ospreay made his return on March 15 during the Revolution pay-per-view. The moment came shortly after Jon Moxley successfully defended the AEW Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita.

Moxley retained the title by applying a rear-naked choke. Instead of tapping out, Takeshita passed out from the hold. After the match ended, both competitors showed respect to one another by shaking hands in the ring.

Moments later, a vignette aired teasing Ospreay’s return. The video concluded with his entrance music hitting, which immediately sparked a loud reaction from the crowd.

Ospreay then ran down to the ring and quickly went after several members of The Death Riders. During the chaotic return, he attacked Moxley along with PAC, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia.

Despite the numbers advantage held by the group, Ospreay managed to fight them off and clear the ring. The segment ended with Ospreay standing tall as he climbed the turnbuckle and posed for the crowd, signaling his official return to AEW competition.

The comeback marks Ospreay’s first appearance in AEW since the attack that sidelined him at Forbidden Door, and it immediately places him back in the middle of the storyline involving The Death Riders.
