WWE and Universal Studios Teaming Up for Halloween Horror Nights – WWE is preparing to step even further into mainstream entertainment with a brand-new venture — this time in the world of theme parks. WWE is expected to officially announce a partnership with Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, one of the most popular seasonal events in the United States.
The collaboration has reportedly been in development since late 2024 and is anticipated to be unveiled later this month. While not yet confirmed publicly by WWE or Universal, sources indicate that this year’s edition of Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, Florida will feature a WWE-themed attraction, joining other announced IPs such as Fallout and horror icon Jason Voorhees. The Orlando event is scheduled to run on select nights from August 29 to November 2.
Rumors of a WWE presence at Halloween Horror Nights have circulated for months, particularly in theme park forums and fan circles. The idea of WWE talent or iconic wrestling moments being turned into immersive haunted house experiences or live scare zones has sparked widespread speculation.
This type of entertainment crossover aligns with WWE’s recent push to broaden its brand visibility beyond wrestling, especially under the TKO Group Holdings umbrella. WWE has already launched cross-promotional efforts with TNA Wrestling, including shared talent appearances and co-branded events. That collaboration has significantly raised the profile of both companies and generated buzz across multiple platforms.
Bringing WWE into Halloween Horror Nights represents a continued shift in strategy, aiming to tap into different fanbases and entertainment sectors. Universal Studios’ annual event regularly attracts hundreds of thousands of guests, offering WWE exposure to a massive new audience — particularly among theme park enthusiasts, horror fans, and casual consumers unfamiliar with its weekly programming.
While it’s unclear exactly how WWE will be featured — whether through a haunted house, live performance, or branded area — the move positions the wrestling giant alongside other iconic franchises in the entertainment world.
An official announcement is expected before the end of July.
