WWE Files Several New Trademarks – WWE filed several new trademarks on Wednesday, February 18, covering both video game properties and in-ring talent names.
Among the filings are WWE Eras Collide, WWE Generations, and WWE Domination, all registered for video game-related purposes. While the company has not announced specific plans, the titles suggest potential future gaming projects or branded modes under the WWE umbrella.
New Ring Name Confirmed For Tristan Angels
In addition to the video game trademarks, WWE also secured the names Tristan Angels and Dorian Van Dux for wrestling use.
It has now been confirmed that Tristan Angels is the new ring name for Nathaniel Cranton. Cranton previously competed under the name Nathan Angel before signing with WWE. After joining the company as part of an NXT recruiting class announced in October 2025, he initially wrestled live event matches under his real name. His updated social media profiles now reflect the Tristan Angels identity.
Cranton was one of several talents introduced during that NXT signing wave.
At this time, it remains unknown which WWE performer will use the name Dorian Van Dux.
Tristan Angels was part of the same signing class as Cyril Coquerelle, who previously wrestled internationally as Aigle Blanc. Coquerelle now competes in NXT under the name Elio LeFleur. Another member of that group, Mike Derudder, also signed with WWE during that period.
WWE routinely trademarks potential ring names well in advance of television debuts, so the identity behind Dorian Van Dux could be revealed in the coming months.
