As high as both Bajaria and Khan are on the deal, their enthusiasm was eclipsed by TKO board of directors member, and Endeavor President and COO, Mark Shapiro. Shapiro believes that the deal not only alters the landscape of pro wrestling, but of mass media in general. It’s because of that he feels the deal is a victory all across the board.

Our partnership fundamentally alters and strengthens the media landscape, dramatically expands the reach of WWE, and brings weekly live appointment viewing to Netflix.”
“We both can rarely remember a time when a deal was truly a win-win for both sides – a universally attractive platform means a universally attractive property,” Shapiro said. “Both have significant and loyal followings and the price and the many parts of the deal are right for both parties.”
