WWE Officials Reportedly Very High on Lash Legend

WWE Officials Reportedly Very High on Lash Legend – Lash Legend’s rise within WWE continues to accelerate, and her move to the SmackDown roster has already earned strong internal praise. The former WNBA standout officially joined the blue brand last month after several appearances with her Meta-Four partner Jakara Jackson, and a new report from Bodyslam.net notes that WWE officials are “very high” on her development.

According to the report, officials were particularly impressed by Legend’s performance inside WarGames and the poise she showed during recent promo segments. Those backstage reactions have helped solidify the belief that she can thrive on the main roster as creative refines her presentation.

Legend made her official SmackDown debut on November 7 in a high-profile alliance with Nia Jax. During that episode, she assisted Jax in a victory over Charlotte Flair by attacking Alexa Bliss at ringside. Bodyslam states that the pairing with Jax is intentional, designed to help Legend adapt quickly to the pace and expectations of the main roster by working beside an experienced, established talent.

Confidence in her long-term potential is reportedly strong. The report adds that officials view Legend as someone poised for a breakout year as WWE moves toward 2026, with her athletic background, presence, and rapid improvement cited as key factors.

Legend, real name Anriel Howard, signed with WWE in December 2020 after a standout collegiate basketball career at Texas A&M and Mississippi State, followed by a stint with the WNBA’s Seattle Storm. She gained television experience and character momentum in NXT as part of The Meta-Four before receiving her main roster opportunity.

As SmackDown continues to strengthen its women’s division heading into the new year, Lash Legend appears positioned for a significant run.
