WWE RAW Opening Segment Ran 10 Minutes Over Time

WWE RAW Opening Segment Ran 10 Minutes Over Time – A new backstage report has shed light on time management issues during the November 3 episode of WWE RAW from Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The show opened with a high-profile segment involving new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, the returning Logan Paul, and The Vision — Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed.

The segment began with Punk celebrating his title win over Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event, listing potential challengers for his newly won championship. Logan Paul then interrupted, expressing his desire for a title shot. Moments later, The Vision arrived, leading to a chaotic brawl in which Reed and Breakker attacked both Punk and Paul. Despite initially hesitating, Paul eventually joined the fight before Punk cleared the ring with a steel chair to end the segment.

According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, the opening segment ran approximately ten minutes longer than originally planned. Alvarez noted that WWE officials were “scrambling” backstage to adjust the rest of the show’s timing to make up for the overrun.

Despite the time issues, the episode proceeded with its advertised matches. AJ Styles and Dragon Lee captured the World Tag Team Championship by defeating Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez scored a tag team victory over Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella, while the main event featured CM Punk and Jey Uso battling Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to a double count-out.

The show ended in dramatic fashion as Logan Paul shockingly turned on Punk after the match, knocking him out with brass knuckles and seemingly aligning himself with Paul Heyman’s faction.
