WWE SmackDown Results – May 29, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage results of WWE SmackDown on May 29, from the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, Spain.
Jade Cargill came out with Michin and B‑Fab flanking her.
Jade told the crowd to take a good look, insisting nobody has ever seen anything like her. She said she doesn’t owe anyone proof of anything — she’s one of one, and she does whatever she wants.
B‑Fab backed her up, saying Jade will walk into Sunday and steamroll Rhea because she’s the most dominant force in the division. Michin added that the future isn’t approaching — it’s already here.
Rhea Ripley’s music hit and she walked straight to the ring alone. The crowd made it clear who they were behind.
Rhea told Jade that every week she comes out bragging about dominance, but most of her success comes from surrounding herself with people who make her look stronger. She reminded Jade that when it was just the two of them, Rhea beat her — at WrestleMania, and she’ll do it again on Sunday. Jade can keep talking, but she’ll be the one staring up at her champion.
Jade fired back, asking if Rhea hears how ridiculous she sounds. She said the division doesn’t revolve around Rhea, and the women beside Jade aren’t being used — they want power. Meanwhile, Rhea is so weak she’s willing to team with women who don’t even like her.
That brought out Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Charlotte said Jade has only been here five minutes and she’s made progress, but height isn’t talent. B‑Fab warned her to watch her mouth. Alexa told Jade that if she claims to be the future, she should prove it — because compared to them, Jade has the résumé of a rookie.
Jade called Alexa “little girl” and said she wouldn’t be talked down to by Charlotte’s rag doll. Alexa warned her — she’s faced people far better than Jade, and Jade doesn’t want to get embarrassed before her career even starts.
Nick Aldis walked out, apologized for interrupting, and said if Jade is as confident as she claims and Alexa wants a fight… then they can settle it in a match.
Jade Cargill vs. Alexa Bliss
Alexa slipped under a clothesline and kicked Jade, then avoided a bicycle kick and jumped on for a reverse chinlock until Jade powered her off. Jade rolled to the floor, chased Alexa back inside, and Alexa fired punches until Jade threw her into the turnbuckles. Jade missed a splash, Alexa went up top, but Jade caught her out of mid‑air and cracked her with a backbreaker. Jade followed with an Irish whip, but Alexa answered with an elbow and a boot before climbing again. Jade cut her off with a forearm, pressed her overhead, and dumped her behind her. Jade posed, missed an elbow drop, and spilled over the top rope. Alexa tried a shot off the apron, but Jade caught her and powerbombed her into the barricade.
Jade whipped Alexa into the barricade again, slammed her into the apron, kicked her in the back, and choked her on the ropes. A forearm in the corner followed, then more choking. Alexa swung back and tried a roll‑up, but Jade blocked it and hammered her with another Irish whip and corner elbow. A second elbow landed, then a suplex for two. Alexa fought with forearms, but Jade shut her down with a back elbow. Jade rolled outside, chopped Alexa, and hot‑shotted her on the apron. She hoisted Alexa again, but Alexa slipped free and dropkicked Jade into the barricade. Jade charged and missed, smashing into the steps.
Alexa fired kicks, hit a dropkick, then nailed the running double knees to the back in the ropes. A flip senton and a blockbuster got a near fall. Jade slipped out of Sister Abigail, and Michin and B‑Fab tripped Alexa. Charlotte and Rhea brawled with them to the back.
Alexa kicked Jade and hit a DDT, then dragged her into position for Twisted Bliss. Jade got the knees up, blasted her with a bicycle kick, and finished her with Jaded.
Winner: Jade Cargill
After the bell, Jade pulled a chair from under the ring, set it up, and planted Alexa with another Jaded onto the steel. Charlotte and Rhea rushed back to check on Alexa as Jade backed away.
Cody Rhodes & Sami Zayn Backstage Confrontation
Cathy Kelley asked Cody how he was feeling when Sami Zayn walked in.
Sami asked Cody if he had something he wanted to say to him. Cody told him he didn’t.
Sami pushed back, saying maybe Cody should — starting with “I’m sorry.” He said he never asked for that fight last week. With everything going on, when Gunther was choking Cody out, Sami tried to help because it was the right thing to do… and Cody repaid him with CrossRhodes.
Cody said he did what he did in a wrestling match, but Sami stood there and watched Gunther choke him out. Sami had a choice.
Sami said he wanted to help because he’s a good guy — and it took everything in him not to step in. He said the right thing was to leave Cody there so he could learn a lesson.
Cody told him that once he’s finished with Gunther… maybe he’ll teach Sami a lesson next.
Backstage with Nick Aldis, Danhausen & The Miz
Nick Aldis apologized to Danhausen for his equipment being delayed. Danhausen asked what he was supposed to do now, and Nick told him to get out in front of the fans — that’s what he’s paid for. Danhausen asked what he should do about his “experiments,” and Nick told him to improvise.
The Miz walked in and said Kit Wilson had been detained by customs and wasn’t in the building. Nick said it didn’t matter where Kit was because it wasn’t his match tonight. Miz started rambling about how much he could help Kit anyway, but Nick cut him off and told him his match was up next.
Miz vs. Axiom
They tied up and Miz grabbed a wrist lock, but Axiom reversed and took him down with an ankle pick, stretching him out while the lights flickered overhead. Miz cartwheeled free to show off, dodged a dropkick, but Axiom caught him with one a second later and kicked him in the back of the head twice. Miz bailed to the floor, saying he’d had enough, but Nathan Frazer blocked his escape. Axiom kicked Miz and threw him back inside, only for Miz to catch him coming in with a kick. Axiom answered with a headbutt and chops, but Miz cut him off with a knee to the ribs and a kick to the head. Axiom fought back, but Miz hit Reality Check for two and followed with a chinlock.
Axiom punched his way out, they traded shots, and Axiom fired up with forearms. Miz held the ropes to block an O’Connor roll, but Axiom hit a German suplex for a near fall. Axiom leapt off the top and rolled through, Miz tried Skull Crushing Finale, Axiom slipped out, but Miz planted him with a DDT for two. Miz kicked him in the chest until Axiom caught the leg and hit a dragon screw. Miz begged off, but Axiom stomped his hands and kicked him down. Axiom hit a crossbody off the top for another near fall. Miz dodged Golden Ratio, hit the Awesome Clothesline, but when he came off the ropes Axiom caught him in a triangle. Miz rolled through, then hit a slingshot powerbomb.
Miz climbed the ropes, the lights flickered again, and Axiom sprang up with a Spanish Fly. Golden Ratio landed clean, and that was enough.
Winner: Axiom
Backstage — R‑Truth, Damian Priest & Royce Keys
R‑Truth told Priest he wasn’t medically cleared, so he couldn’t get involved tonight. Priest said that was actually a good thing — if the MFT showed up, Truth being out of the way wouldn’t hurt him.
Truth said he made an executive decision anyway… and found a replacement partner.
Royce Keys walked into frame, and Truth proudly announced that they would be teaming together.
Priest shut that down immediately, saying Truth is his partner — and if Truth can’t go, he’s not teaming with anyone else. Keys told him then it’ll have to be Priest against the world.
Priest said the whole thing felt like a setup, especially with the way Solo keeps talking about him.
Truth looked at both of them and asked the real question: were they scared of the MFT… or scared to tag with each other.
Backstage — Sami Zayn, Candice LeRae, Johnny Gargano & Matt Cardona
Sami was talking with Candice, venting about what Cody said to him. He told her that they understand him… then immediately corrected himself and said he wasn’t talking to Candice.
Sami turned to Johnny and said Johnny gets him.
Matt Cardona walked up and asked if Sami was okay.
Sami immediately got suspicious and asked if Cody sent him.
Matt said he’s been back for five months and he’s not complaining, talking to corpses, or acting like a—
Sami snapped, yelling at Matt, then turned to Johnny insisting that everyone is against him. Sami told Matt they could settle it in the ring.
Charlotte Flair Checks on Alexa Bliss
Charlotte was backstage with Alexa Bliss before stepping into the hallway, where Rhea Ripley approached and asked how Alexa was doing.
Charlotte said Alexa wasn’t in good shape — and neither was she — and made it clear she planned on getting her hands on Jade.
Rhea told her she’d handle Jade on Sunday.
Charlotte shot back that if Rhea doesn’t… then she will.
Royce Keys & Damian Priest vs. Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga
Priest and Talla opened the match, with Talla hammering him with kicks and a headbutt. Priest answered with a chop and a shoulder tackle, but Talla didn’t budge and knocked Priest down with one of his own. More headbutts followed before Tama tagged in and added his own. Priest fired back with punches, and Keys tagged himself in since Priest clearly wasn’t in the mood to do it.
Keys blocked an Irish whip and hit a tilt‑a‑whirl gutbuster, then crushed Tama with corner splashes. Tama got a boot up, but Keys powered him down with a slam and a running shoulder tackle. Talla grabbed Priest by the throat on the apron, but Keys drilled him, and both Keys and Priest knocked Talla over the top rope.
Talla recovered and sent Priest into the steps while Tama clipped Keys and punched him down. Talla tagged in, choked Keys on the ropes, and pounded him with strikes. A corner splash landed, followed by a running Samoan drop. Tama tagged back in with a slingshot senton, then forearms across the chest and a sliding clothesline. More double‑team punishment followed as Talla returned and kicked Keys around. Keys fought back with punches, but Talla rocked him with an uppercut. Talla missed a splash, Tama tagged in, and he cut Keys off before he could reach Priest. Keys hit a choke bomb, leaving both men down.
Priest finally tagged in and unloaded forearms, then drove Tama face‑first into the mat. He knocked Talla off the apron, kicked him, and blasted Tama with a cyclone kick. Priest hit corner elbows on both Tongas and sent Talla to the floor. Tama hit him from behind, but Priest answered with a leaping flatliner.
Priest climbed the ropes and hit a clothesline for a near fall. Keys clotheslined Talla to the floor, but while the referee was sending Keys back to the apron, Solo Sikoa slid in and hit Priest with a Samoan Spike.
R‑Truth ran out and punched Solo, but Solo dropped him with another Spike. Keys stopped a second one, but Tama knocked Keys off the steps. Talla grabbed Priest and planted him with a choke slam for the three count.
Winners: Talla Tonga & Tama Tonga
Backstage — The Miz, Nick Aldis & Danhausen
The Miz stormed up to Nick Aldis, threatening to sue because his life is “in danger” every time he goes to the ring. He listed off everything bizarre that’s happened during his matches lately and said it’s unacceptable.
Nick told him he’d look into the electrical issues and get to the bottom of it.
Before Miz could rant any further, Danhausen appeared in a back room and blasted him in the face with a fire extinguisher, leaving Miz coughing and covered in foam.
Chelsea Green & Tiffany Stratton Backstage
Chelsea Green was walking backstage when she spotted Tiffany Stratton. Chelsea said she got Tiffany’s message, but Tiffany cut her off and said she was planning to wear that outfit tonight.
Chelsea shifted gears and excitedly brought up their entrance for later, but Tiffany shut it down immediately — she wasn’t coming out with Chelsea at all.
Chelsea’s face dropped, clearly disappointed as Tiffany walked off.
Sami Zayn vs. Matt Cardona
They locked up and Sami took control early with a wrist lock, then rolled into a hammerlock. Cardona countered with a side headlock, but Sami snapped him over with an arm drag and hammered him with forearms to the back of the head. Cardona dumped Sami over the top rope, then hit a dropkick through the ropes. Sami recovered, caught Cardona with a shoulder, and suplexed him back into the ring for a near fall. He followed with punches and a chop, but Cardona fired back with forearms, an Irish whip, and a running corner forearm. A missile dropkick sent Sami to the floor, and Sami demanded the referee keep Cardona back as he tried to re‑enter.
Sami tripped Cardona from the floor and hit another suplex. He choked Cardona on the ropes, chopped him in the corner, and scored another near fall before locking in a chinlock. Cardona fought out with clotheslines and a facebuster, then hit the corner forearm and the Woo Woo Boot. He set up for the Rough Ryder, but Sami launched him overhead. Cardona escaped the Blue Thunder Bomb and hit a Tiger Bomb for two. Sami clubbed him across the back and tried a suplex, but Cardona landed on his feet. Sami blocked another Rough Ryder and drilled him with a powerbomb for a near fall.
Sami charged, but Cardona caught him with the Rough Ryder — only for Sami to get his foot on the ropes. Cardona put Sami on the top rope for a superplex, but Sami fought him off. Cardona fired back, but Sami knocked him down, leapt over him, and hit an exploder into the turnbuckles. Sami charged and connected with the Helluva Kick, sealing the win.
Winner: Sami Zayn
King & Queen of the Ring Update
Joe and Wade discussed the upcoming King and Queen of the Ring tournament, noting that the finals will take place on June 27th. The winners of each bracket will earn a championship match at SummerSlam.
Gunther and Nick Aldis Backstage
Nick told them he’d give them television time, but he wanted things kept civilized.
Gunther looked almost offended that Nick would even suggest otherwise. He said he wasn’t an animal and promised he would remain civilized — he would attack Cody verbally and tell him exactly how he feels. Then, without missing a beat, Gunther suggested that the next time they come to Spain, they should go to Madrid.
Trick Williams, Lil Yachty, Carmelo Hayes & Ricky Saints In‑Ring Segment
Trick Williams came out with Lil Yachty, who hyped him up as the man who makes everything possible. Trick said he wanted to talk about it — he’s been holding down the brand for a long time, and in the last few weeks he handled both Miz and Carmelo Hayes. He said nobody represents the brand better than he does, and he announced he’s in the King of the Ring tournament.
Carmelo Hayes interrupted. He asked Trick if he really thought he was King of the Ring material. King of the microphone? Yes. King of the entrance? Yes. King of the Ring? No. Hayes said tonight he’d take care of Ricky Saints for sticking his nose in their business, and then they’d run it back for the United States Title.
Trick said that sounded like excuses and called him too MELOdramatic. If only Ricky didn’t come out. If only Lil Yachty wasn’t by his side. Hayes fired back that he’d whoop that trick. Trick said if Melo grew an inch every time he made an excuse, he’d be tall enough to look him in the eye. Hayes said Trick would see he’s better.
Ricky Saints came out and said nobody wanted to watch this telenovela — the people wanted to see him. He said Trick sucker‑punched him, and after he’s done with Hayes, he’s coming for the title. Trick told Ricky he was lying, posing, and bobble‑heading, and he’d shut him up whenever he wanted. Maybe Ricky could figure out who gets the title match, because Trick has no trouble proving he’s the king.
Ricky called Trick the King of Delusion.
Trick slapped him across the face.
Ricky Saints vs. Carmelo Hayes
The match was already underway with Ricky hammering Hayes with punches and chops. Hayes answered with a dropkick, then trapped Ricky’s legs in the ropes and hit a springboard leg drop. Ricky fired back with a clothesline and corner strikes, but Hayes caught him with a kick and an enzuigiri, followed by chops, an Irish whip, and a corner splash. Hayes stomped Ricky’s head and went for a springboard, but Ricky shoved him over the top rope to the floor. Ricky bounced Hayes off the barricade a few times, then wasted time posing instead of staying on him.
Back inside, Ricky hit a belly‑to‑back suplex and a knee drop for a near fall. He climbed for Old School, came down with a slam and another knee drop, then locked in a chinlock. Hayes broke free with a belly‑to‑back suplex and lit him up with chops and kicks. Ricky cut him off with an uppercut for a near fall, slapped him in the back of the head, and they traded shots. Ricky hit a suplex and put Hayes on the turnbuckles. He climbed up, but Hayes slapped him down and went for a frog splash — Ricky got the knees up.
Ricky hit a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Hayes countered the tornado DDT with a rollup for two, then went up top and drilled Ricky with a DDT. They traded punches until Hayes hit a springboard clothesline and La Mistica for a near fall. Hayes tried a suplex, Ricky blocked it, and Ricky hit a DDT for another near fall. Ricky spilled to the floor when Hayes dropped down, and Hayes followed with a flip dive. Ricky blasted him with a forearm and sent him over the barricade, but Hayes came flying back with a clothesline off the barricade. The referee reached ten.
Double Count Out
After the bell, Ricky blindsided Hayes. He hoisted Hayes up, but Hayes superkicked him and hit First 48. Ricky rolled to the floor.
Nia Jax & Lash Legend Confront Tiffany Stratton
Nia and Lash stopped Tiffany in the back and told her she was smart for staying out of Chelsea Green’s corner tonight. Nia said she’d finish the “Chelsea problem,” and Lash added that the title would be coming home afterward.
Blake Monroe Message to Rhea Ripley
Blake Monroe said the SmackDown women’s locker room is full of fascinating talent, and she singled out Rhea Ripley — the presence, the brutality, the black leather aura. Blake said while Rhea tries to intimidate everyone, she’s really hiding things. Blake doesn’t need to try; she turns heads just by walking in the room.
She told Rhea she can’t run from her. And she warned her not to get too comfortable… because Blake Monroe is coming to SmackDown.
Nia Jax vs. Chelsea Green
Chelsea tried to slip out of the ring at the bell, but Nia grabbed her and tossed her across the ring twice. Nia charged and missed in the corner, and Chelsea slapped her before knocking her to the floor and hitting a suicide dive. Nia dragged Chelsea back inside and slammed her face‑first into the mat, then bounced her throat across the middle rope and choked her in the corner. A running hip attack landed for a count of two. Chelsea chopped her, but ran into a back elbow for another two count. Nia locked in a chinlock, then popped her with a headbutt for another near fall.
Chelsea fought back with a jawbreaker and forearm, but Nia caught her and hit a sit‑out powerbomb for two. Nia missed a leg drop, and Chelsea tried a sliding flatliner, but Nia blocked it. Chelsea slipped free and hit a Zig Zag for a near fall. Nia hit the post shoulder‑first, and Chelsea followed with a missile dropkick from the top. A Rough Ryder landed for two. Chelsea set up the Unprettier, but Nia powered out. Chelsea dropkicked Lash through the ropes, but Nia hit a Samoan drop and set up for the ANIAlator.
Tiffany Stratton’s music hit. Nia turned toward the stage, and Tiffany slid in and blasted her with the title belt. Chelsea covered.
Winner: Chelsea Green
Fatal Influence Interrupt Brie & Paige Backstage
Cathy was with Brie Bella and Paige and asked them about the growing targets on their backs.
Brie said they’ve successfully defended the titles and—
Fatal Influence barged in. Jacy wanted to know why anyone was even talking to Brie and Paige. She announced she’s officially in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Lainey added that Brie and Paige won’t be holding those titles much longer.
Jacy said soon everyone will be under their influence.
Cody Rhodes & Gunther Face‑to‑Face
Cody Rhodes made his way to the ring and asked the crowd what they wanted to talk about — but Gunther’s music cut him off.
Gunther said he came out to tell Cody exactly what he thinks of him. He said he’s new to SmackDown, but it didn’t take long to realize the entire show revolves around Cody. Everything has to be about him. Gunther said Cody is a product of the culture he grew up in — egotism and nepotism carrying him forward. Cody calls himself the American Nightmare, but he’s the perfect example of the American Dream… the concept, not the man. Gunther said he was told that if you want to maximize your life, you go to America and earn it. And he did. Every step.
For Cody, Gunther said, everything was just a phone call away. Training. Signing. Leaving. Coming back. All of it. He called Cody an entitled brat. They may share the same profession, but they are nothing alike. Cody needs approval, validation, attention. Gunther said none of that matters to him — all he cares about is being the best professional wrestler alive and protecting this sacred sport from people like Cody. Cody only cares about Cody. He’s not a champion… he’s a mark for himself.
Cody cut him off and said he is a fan of himself — and Gunther is a liar. Every kid who dreams of being a wrestler wants the spotlight. They want the poster. They want the ESPN match. They want the crowd singing their song. Cody said Gunther wants it too, or else he’d be a 330‑pound version of himself wrestling in front of 150 people at an indie show. Instead, he’s standing here in the best shape of his life.
Cody said Paul Heyman warned him about what comes with being champion, but Paul didn’t tell him the most important part — this is addictive. And Gunther is addicted too. He’s going to get close, and then he’ll learn the one thing every wrestler fears: he’s not that good. Cody said he’s easy to find and hard to beat.
Cody turned to leave, but Gunther grabbed him.
Gunther asked if Cody really thinks he’s a liar. He said he promised he’d choke out Goldberg — and he did. He promised he’d choke out AJ Styles — and he did. He promised he’d make John Cena tap — and he did. Gunther said he’s going to choke out Cody, drop him like a wet towel, and leave with the title.
