Despite the drop, SmackDown still finished fourth on cable for the night. The show went head-to-head with Game 5 of the NHL Eastern Conference Final, which likely impacted its overall audience share.

The episode was also notable for its international broadcast situation. SmackDown aired from Barcelona, Spain, and was taped earlier in the evening, with global availability through Netflix adding another layer to its distribution strategy.
