Backstage Update on Natalya’s WWE Contract Status – Natalya may soon be considering stepping away from the ring, as her contract is due to expire next month.

According to PWInsider, there is widespread surprise within WWE that a new deal for Natalya has not yet been finalized. This is particularly unexpected given her family legacy, outstanding in-ring work, and role as a company ambassador. Moreover, her husband, TJ Wilson, is a highly respected match producer for WWE, known for his recent work on the Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan steel cage match for the WWE Women’s World Championship on Monday Night Raw. Wilson is frequently requested by talent to produce their matches.

There is also interest in what Wilson’s future will look like if Natalya does not re-sign with WWE. Sources indicate that until two or three weeks ago, no discussions had taken place regarding a new contract for Natalya. Despite this, another WWE source noted that there is still time to reach an agreement and secure her services going forward.
