WWE’s Cathy Kelley Opens Up About Recent Autism Diagnosis

In recent years, many within the wrestling industry have become more open about being diagnosed with specific disorders or conditions, whether it be AEW star Will Ospreay revealing that he has autism, ADHD and dyslexia, or former Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee sharing her journey with bipolar disorder. On Tuesday, WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley was next to share her own personal story, as she explained on “Insight” with Chris Van Vliet that she’s been diagnosed with autism.

“I’m pretty introverted … I think it’s just a different side to me. Yeah, I was recently diagnosed with autism and I recognize that changes a lot of the social dynamics that I have. So, when I say introverted, I feel like it’s a little bit more than a typical person would be.”

Kelley continued by touching on her friendship with former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, explaining that he’s been one of her biggest supporters since learning about being on the spectrum, especially with is son, Owen, also having autism.

“He has a lot of the same humor that my family has and so you just end up gravitating towards people that get that. But yeah, he’s been super supportive, especially since the diagnosis. Since he knows so much about it because of his son. He’s just very grounded. He’s a good person to go to for advice because he’ll be direct about it and give you a really good answer.”

TNA Impact Ratings & Viewership Report: 6/4/2026

It may sound like a broken record, but it remains true that both the NBA Playoffs and NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs have done a number on “TNA Impact’s” viewership over the past several months, with the AMC show often struggling to draw over 200K viewers. But last week, “Impact” got a minor reprieve, facing no competition from the NBA Finals matchup between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs. It proved to be a big help when it came to viewership.

Wrestlenomics and Programming Insider report that June 4 “Impact” drew 226K total viewers and a 0.03 in the coveted 18-49 demographic. The numbers were a big success week over week, with total viewership rising 16% from May 28’s 195K, while 18-49 was up 50% from 0.02. While the 18-49 increase was higher overall, the total viewership number will likely be seen as the most notable, as its the highest viewership “Impact” has drawn since April 30, where it drew 217K viewers.

The good news continued when it came to the episode’s ranking against the four week average. Total viewership was well up, rising 23% from an average of 183K, while 18-49 showed a similar rise from week over week, up 50% from an average of 0.02. Despite there being no NBA competition, “Impact” did go up against the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals, meaning the increases did come with some notable sports competition against them.

What may have contributed to the strong rating was that “Impact” was headlined by its most popular act, The Hardys. Alas, it was not a good night for Matt and Jeff Hardy, who were ultimately defeated by rivals The Righteous in a Wicked Garden match. It was also not a good night for Knockouts Champion Lei Ying Lee, who was defeated by Mr. Elegance in an Intergender match.

Matt Hardy Believes Dark Side Of The Ring Is Entering Its Final Season

In the six seasons that “Dark Side of the Ring” has been on air, it has been informative, thought provoking, and sometimes heartbreaking. For some of the subjects involved, the show has been a source of controversy, especially for those who want to keep wrestling’s underbelly hidden. The show’s seventh season premieres next month with a three-part series on TNA Wrestling.

While Jeff Jarrett was involved with the telling of TNA’s story, Matt Hardy is another wrestler who was involved. On “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy”, Hardy spoke about the show. He revealed that he and his brother, Jeff, were interviewed for a couple of hours. “We talk about Jeff Jarrett and our entire history with him.” Hardy said they also discuss leaving TNA for WWE. He also said that Jarrett believes season seven will be the final season. “He said more than likely the last season of ‘Dark Side of the Ring’. They have some new endeavors they want to try.” Jarrett said the episodes about TNA will be a “redemption story” for both TNA and himself. Hardy also says it’s the most star-studded episode that there’s ever been. “They were going over the list and it’s wild.”

“Dark Side of the Ring” premieres on July 7 on VICE. Two episodes will air back-to-back and then part three of TNA’s story will air the following week. It will be back to one episode per week after July 7.

WWE Star Danhausen Documents Trip To NBA Finals As Knicks Drop Game 3 To Spurs

As the New York Knicks have made their way to the NBA Finals, WWE star Danhausen has become a symbol of their good fortune, thanks to him uncursing both the Knicks and ESPN personality/Knicks fan Stephen A. Smith weeks ago. That notoriety has gotten Danhausen into Madison Square Garden for Knicks games, including Game 3 of the NBA Finals last night, a journey which Danhausen, and his friends at Fanatics and ESPN, documented on Instagram.

In the first post, by Fanatics, Danhausen merch was seen outside of Madison Square Garden, with several fans being given a Danhausen mask equipped with a Knicks hat before posing for a photo. The second post by NBA on ESPN showed Danhausen’s appearance during “Hoop Streams,” where he chatted it up with former Knicks players Jeremy Linn and Iman Shumpert. The final two posts came directly from Danhausen, showing he had met with Knicks fans Ben Stiller and rapper Cardi B, who performed prior to the game.

Overall, it would seem like a great night for the very nice, very evil WWE star, with one exception; the Knicks lost, falling to the San Antonio Spurs 115-111, thanks to a 32 point game by Spurs star Victor Wembanyama. The loss not only reduced the Knicks series lead from 2-0 to 2-1, but was also the first loss the team had suffered since April 23, when they dropped Game 3 of their first round series against the Atlanta Hawks. Shortly after the game, Danhausen took to X in an humorous attempt to absolve himself over any potential blame Knicks fans could lay on him following the defeat.

Former Producer Road Dogg Says WWE Doesn’t View AEW As Competition But It Should

Road Dogg’s WWE exit in March 2026 caught a lot of people off guard as the WWE Hall of Famer had only been made the lead writer of “WWE SmackDown” one year earlier. Road Dogg would go on to open up about the reasoning behind his exit shortly after by saying the company was moving too fast for him, but he has since opened up even more about life in behind the scenes in WWE, and was recently asked about WWE’s perception of their biggest rivals, AEW.

During a recent appearance on “Busted Open Radio,” Road Dogg was asked if WWE ever looked at AEW as a legitimate competitor, or if the powers that be in WWE dismissed Tony Khan’s promotion as just another entity who they didn’t need to worry about. Road Dogg explained that people in WWE did have much more of the latter mindset, which in hindsight may have been a mistake.

“No we didn’t, and we probably should have to be quite honest with you,” Road Dogg said. “Instead, I think it was looked at like ‘Oh that’s this other little money mark’s company,’ you know what I mean? I honestly think that’s how it was kind of looked at, and I would argue however long we are into their tenure, that was wrong to be looking at it that way. They’re here, they’re still here, they’re still strong, I would argue they’re getting stronger, I would argue adding Mike Mansury to their team who runs their truck now was a huge step in the right direction. He’s a smart guy with good instincts, and there’s more than just two guys and a referee when running a wrestling show, you’ve got to have guys with good instincts.”
