Keith Lee AEW Return Update Following Reported Backstage Discussions

Keith Lee AEW Return Update Following Reported Backstage Discussions

Reports continue to circulate regarding the status of All Elite Wrestling star Keith Lee, who has been absent from in-ring action for an extended period following health-related setbacks.

A report from Fightful Select noted that Lee was “discussed for a return to AEW programming a number of months ago.” However, the report also clarified that it is not confirmed whether Lee was ever directly informed of those discussions. It was further stated that he has not been seen backstage and has not gone through the typical clearance process that usually signals an active return is being prepared.

Lee’s last match for AEW took place in late December 2023 on an episode of Collision. Around the same time, he was also pulled from the Worlds End event due to an undisclosed injury issue that had reportedly been affecting him for more than a year.

Since that period, Lee has remained largely inactive in AEW programming. In June 2025, he addressed his situation publicly, stating that his health was fine but making it clear that the decision regarding his return was not in his control. A few months later, he followed up by saying he would “definitely” return to in-ring competition, but did not provide any timeline or specific direction on when that would happen.

Lee signed with AEW in February 2022 and made an immediate impact upon debut. Since joining the promotion, he has wrestled 48 matches for AEW and an additional three matches under the Ring of Honor banner. His run included a reign as AEW World Tag Team Champion, marking one of the key highlights of his early tenure.

At this time, there is no confirmed return date or creative plan publicly announced for Lee’s comeback. The situation remains dependent on internal clearance and ongoing health evaluations.

Keith Lee AEW return update latest report

The latest update reinforces that while internal discussions about a potential return have taken place, Lee has not yet re-entered active AEW rotation or cleared the necessary steps for an in-ring comeback.

Liv Morgan Advances in Queen of the Ring Tournament on WWE RAW

Liv Morgan Advances in Queen of the Ring Tournament on WWE RAW

Liv Morgan advanced in the Queen of the Ring tournament on WWE RAW after a four-way opening round match featuring Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green.

Liv Morgan Queen of the Ring Victory in WWE RAW Match

The match began the episode following a promo segment involving Oba Femi and Dominik Mysterio. The opening round bout quickly turned into a fast-paced contest, with all four competitors trading control throughout.

Alexa Bliss appeared to gain momentum late in the match when she delivered her Sister Abigail finisher to Liv Morgan. However, before Bliss could secure the pinfall, Becky Lynch intervened by pulling Bliss away and immediately hitting her Manhandle Slam, breaking the cover attempt.

Chelsea Green then entered the decisive sequence, capitalizing on the chaos. She struck Lynch with her Unprettier and attempted to secure the win with a pinfall of her own. Before she could finish the count, Liv Morgan recovered and returned to the ring.

Morgan then seized the opening and locked in a jackknife pin on Green, stealing the victory while the other competitors were incapacitated on the mat.

With this result, Liv Morgan moves forward in the Queen of the Ring tournament. She will now face the winner of a future four-way match featuring Sol Ruca, Charlotte Flair, Lyra Valkyria, and Jade Cargill.

The Queen of the Ring tournament continues to determine a top contender position within WWE RAW’s women’s division. Each match features multiple competitors competing under elimination-style or pinfall rules, where a single decisive moment can change the outcome. This opening round match followed that pattern, with momentum shifting rapidly between all four competitors before Liv Morgan secured the final pin. The result allows Morgan to progress deeper into the tournament bracket as competition intensifies in upcoming rounds.

Her victory marks another key step in the ongoing Queen of the Ring competition on WWE RAW.

Anoa’i Family Member, Indie Star Reportedly Spotted At WWE Performance Center

After a few years apart, The Bloodline is now back together, with Roman Reigns leading The Usos and Jacob Fatu into battle against former member Solo Sikoa and The MFTs. And soon another member of the Anoa’i/Fatu family could be joining their ranks. PWInsider Elite reports that Zilla Fatu was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center. While it wasn’t confirmed that Fatu had signed with the promotion, it’s believed that WWE has interest in bringing him in.

A trainee of WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Fatu has become a well known commodity on the independent circuit over the last few years, primarily wrestling for Booker’s Reality of Wrestling promotion in Texas, as well as promotions such as GCW and House of Glory. Between HOG and ROW, Fatu is a two-time ROW Champion and two-time reigning and defending HOG Crown Jewel Champion, having won the title from another WWE Hall of Famer, Bully Ray, in September 2025. Fatu’s most high profile indie match arguably occurred in March of this year, where he challenged AEW Men’s World Champion MJF at a House of Glory event, ultimately coming up short.

Due to his family connections, many have expected Fatu to eventually wind up in WWE, though this recent report is the most overt sign that the promotion has been pursuing the 26 year old. Several notable WWE figures have vouched for Fatu as a potential WWE star, including Bully, Fatu’s uncle Rikishi, and former Bloodline “wise man” Paul Heyman, who even went as far to say that WWE “would be remiss” if they didn’t offer Fatu a contract.
