WWE HOFer Eric Bischoff Calls Extended Brock Lesnar Vs. Oba Femi Feud ‘Clunky As Hell’

Two of the biggest behemoths in WWE, “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar and “The Ruler” Oba Femi, are now tied one-to-one, as Lesnar avenged a win over Femi at Clash in Italy last weekend. With a trilogy match on the horizon, former Senior Vice President of WCW Eric Bischoff just can’t buy into having Lesnar go from retired at WrestleMania 42, then back to his apex ways weeks later.

“I don’t have a feel of this at all. It’s clunky as hell,” the Hall of Famer said on his “83 Weeks” podcast. “I would have let him retire…It seems like Brock, in a kind of state of mind, made one decision, and found out legally afterwards that he didn’t have that option. That’s kind of what it feels like to me…If this was to satisfy a television partner, you kind of created this anticlimactic ending. Well, it was a very climatic ending, but an anticlimactic, I guess…funky, at the very least…It felt like the story ended. For me, the story ended between Oba and Brock. Brock ended. Brock’s story is over. Then, all of the sudden, it’s not…You got to convince me there’s a reason why I’m watching this.”

In August, SummerSlam will be in Lesnar’s backyard in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where it’s possible that their rubber match will take place. However, “83 Weeks” co-host Conrad Thompson is under the impression that it could happen as soon as Night of Champions later this month in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Either way, their paths crossing one more time are far from over, though Femi must focus on a new task in hand, as he will meet AAA Mega Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio in the semi-finals of The King of the Ring Tournament soon.

Maxxine Dupri Says WWE IC Title Feud With Becky Lynch ‘Changed Everything’

Late last year into early 2026, Maxxine Dupri had a heated feud against Becky Lynch, centered around the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. While Dupri would enjoy a run with the championship, Lynch would ultimately end her reign with the title on an episode of “RAW” early this year.

During an interview with Denise Salcedo, Dupri looked back at the rivalry and why she believes it elevated her as a star in WWE.

“I did not see that in my future last year, as it was happening,” she admitted, adding that she was originally just excited to be able to work with Lynch and was hoping to simply learn from her. “It was the greatest experience of my life sharing the ring with her, and I learned more than I could ever repay her for… I think [the feud] changed everything.”

Dupri further stated that her feud against Lynch also changed how she views herself both as a wrestler and as an individual, and she feels far more capable as a pro wrestler before her feud with Lynch.

“That whole journey truly took my career from over here, and elevated me,” she claimed. “After that first match, I was not expecting a second one, a third one, a fourth one; so, I couldn’t believe the opportunities I was being blessed with.”

Dupri even managed to win the Women’s IC Championship at Madison Square Garden in 2025.

“Nothing will ever beat that day,” Dupri gushed. “It was the greatest day of my life.”

After dethroning Dupri, Lynch was eventually beaten by AJ Lee, and more recently, Sol Ruca.

WWE’s Jade Cargill Explains Why She Is A ‘Natural Heel’

Former WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill’s catchphrase, since her days back in AEW, is she’s “that b****,” and on the microphone, she backs it up. Though she initially worked as babyface as one of the “Big Three” alongside Naomi and Bianca Belair, she’s been working heel since October, when she snapped and attacked Tiffany Stratton on “WWE SmackDown.”

Cargill appeared on “The Rich Eisen Show” to talk about all aspects of her career. She told the hosts that she thinks she’s a natural heel, and even cut a heelish promo during the interview as an explanation.

“I’m a natural heel. People hate what they can’t be,” Cargill said. “You get what I’m saying? I look good. I smell good. I mean, I’m one of one. Nobody has a body like mine and this is year round, this is not just for a season, a competition or whatever you want to call it. I’m just naturally blessed and I’m gorgeous, by the way, so it’s not just about the body, it’s about the face, as well. There’s no woman who looks like me, regardless of how hard they work. I’m just God given. It is what it is… My haters keep me paid. Good or bad, people talking about me, I’m still going to trend.”

Following her heel turn, Cargill would go on to challenge Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship. She’d win the gold at Saturday Night’s Main Event at the beginning of November. Cargill held the title through WWE WrestleMania 42, where she’d drop the belt to Rhea Ripley, then lose her rematch at Clash in Italy.

Rapper Fetty Wap Gets Physical At GCW Tournament Of Survival

It was a crossover like no other on Saturday, as American rapper Fetty Wap and his “1738” brand joined forces with pro wrestling veteran Nick Gage and his “MDK All Day” persona at GCW’s “Tournament of Survival 11” in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Making his first-ever appearance in the squared circle, the musician didn’t get much time to interact with the crowd before Tony Deppen interrupted his set. Then, things turned brutal. After dropping some wrestling lore on Deppen by quoting The Rock, he slapped a drink out of Deppen’s hand before cracking several light tubes on the wrestler’s head. Gage supplied the rapper with the light tubes. The fans were fired up, with most of them applauding his efforts. A clip of that scene was posted on X [formerly known as Twitter], which can be seen below.

With many still wrapping their heads around this viral moment, it’s unclear if Fetty will return to the pro wrestling scene and possibly train to be part of some in-ring combat like other popular musicians have, such as Bad Bunny and Jelly Roll. Fetty is an iHeartRadio Music Awards, Billboard Music, MTV VMA (Video Music Awards), and BET Hip Hop Awards recipient. His commercial success began in 2014 with his debut single, “Trap Queen.”

Injury Update On AEW Champion MJF, Following Removal From Indie Date

Following his successful title defense on “AEW Dynamite,” Beyond Wrestling revealed that, due to a hyperextended knee, AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman was not medically cleared to travel or compete. As such, MJF withdrew from his scheduled indie match against Bobby Orlando at Beyond’s Break The Walls Down event in Rhode Island.

According to Fightful Select, MJF did indeed hyperextend his knee during his title match against Rush on “Dynamite.” Despite the wide speculation, the cause of the injury did not stem from the Tombstone Pilediver that MJF delivered on the barricade, however. The outlet indicates that the injury was a “freak accident” that occurred when Rush connected with a knee strike in the corner of the ring.

Regarding his immediate future with AEW, MJF is still expected to appear on programming, with the company reportedly monitoring his injury as he moves along. As of Friday, reports suggested that although MJF’s injury is legitimate, his creative plans for the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV, slated for June 28, were not in jeopardy.

MJF reclaimed the AEW World Championship by defeating Darby Allin in a Hair vs. Title match at Double or Nothing on May 24. Allin had previously unseated him on “Dynamite” in April.

MJF’s future in Beyond remains unclear as he recently stated that the Break The Walls Down event would likely mark his last American independent match for a long time. Upon MJF’s injury-related cancellation, though, Beyond noted that MJF would wrestle for its promotion in a makeup match as soon as his schedule allowed.
