Kevin Knight Joins Don Callis Family, Retains AEW TNT Title

Kevin Knight defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey to retain his TNT Championship during “AEW Dynamite.”

Knight was defending the title against his former Trios Championship-winning partner for the fifth time, having captured the vacant title at Dynasty in April.

Prior to the match getting underway, Knight was introduced by Don Callis as the newest member of his Family, once again bringing the TNT title under the DCF’s umbrella after Kyle Fletcher was forced to vacate it.

Callis watched on alongside Jake Doyle as his new recruit worked over Bailey in the ring, jeering at the challenger and telling him to give up as he was tied up by the champion. Bailey didn’t, and eventually fought his way back into the bout with a series of kicks to drop Knight in the middle of the ring.

Bailey went to the outside of the ring looking to find some space to rally, but Knight followed him by flying over the ropes to take him out, returning to the ring for the action to continue. Bailey still managed to find his way back into the contest, getting a close near-fall with a straitjacket pin and going to the top rope, prompting Doyle to get up on the apron.

The distraction from Doyle gave Callis the opportunity to clock Bailey at the top rope, thus allowing Knight to crash Bailey from the top rope and gain the winning pinfall.

After the match, Knight said that he needed to get the dead weight – Bailey – off his shoulders before resuming his quest to become a double champion. He then addressed AEW World Champion MJF and said he was ready when he is.

WWE HOFer Nikki Bella Wishes She Could Wrestle These WNBA Stars

Before signing with WWE in 2007, Nikki Bella played competitive soccer with hopes of one day joining the women’s World Cup team. Now, she dreams of tag-teaming with a legitimate former FIFA Women’s World Cup player.

“I feel like Alex Morgan and I would have cool vibes,” Nikki told “Sports Illustrated” when asked which pro athlete she’d choose to team with in the wrestling ring. “I have the soccer background. Soccer players, the way they move, they would catch on to wrestling really quick, how their footwork is.”

As for potential cross-sport opponents, Nikki pointed to two standouts from the Women’s National Basketball Association. “I mean, Sophie Cunningham has said she’s wanted to take me on, so I’ll leave it at that. I’d like to take her and Caitlin Clark on. That’d be fun. She started it. We’ll finish it … Dude, I’ll rack attack the s**** out of [Caitlin Clark].”

Currently, Nikki remains on the sidelines from pro wrestling action as she injured her ankle on the March 27 edition of “WWE SmackDown,” then underwent surgery shortly after. As a result, Nikki withdrew her spot in the four-way WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 42, with fellow former WWE Diva Paige taking her place.

Together, Paige and Nikki’s sister Brie Bella went on to win the tag titles on WWE’s grandest stage. Since then, they’ve successfully defended the Women’s Tag Team Championships against the Judgment Day and the Irresistible Forces. Where exactly Nikki will return to the ring is unknown, though as of late April, she indicated that she’s be out of it for at least another six to eight weeks.

MJF Escapes No Count Out Match With AEW World Title

MJF is still AEW World Champion after a No Count Out match against Rush to open “AEW Dynamite.” The stipulation was added after the pair had a backstage confrontation earlier in the day that got physical. After racking up a win streak, Rush challenged MJF last week.

The champion spit in Rush’s face to start off, but was then taken out by a dive over the top rope. Rush choked MJF with a cable on the outside, but was sent face-first into a chair with a drop toehold by MJF. The challenger sent MJF over the ring barricade with a back body drop. MJF removed a turnbuckle pad and went to throw Rush into it, but the referee blocked him. When Rush pushed the ref out of the way, MJF was able to counter and send Rush into the steel, causing him to bleed.

Rush got back to his feet in an attempt to battle back, and sent MJF into the turnbuckle as well. The pair battled back and forth, and Rush hit a straight jacket piledriver onto the ring apron. During the match’s only commercial break, Rush was checked out by a doctor at ringside and when it looked as though the match would be called, “El Toro Blanco” was adamant things continue. Commentary said that Rush had a dislocated shoulder, but popped it back in himself.

Rush hit the Bull’s Horns, but MJF kicked out. Back on the outside, MJF moved out of the way of a dropkick, and Rush sent himself through the ring barricade. MJF nailed his challenger with a tombstone piledriver on the broken barricade piece. Rush countered the Heat-Seeker in the ring, but MJF locked in a hammerlock cross face. Rush managed to flip off the champion before passing out in the hold for MJF to retain.

Bully Ray Liked The ‘Evolution’ Of Oba Femi On WWE Raw Following Clash In Italy Loss

Despite losing to Brock Lesnar at Clash in Italy, Oba Femi dominated on “WWE Raw” and advanced to the next round of the King of the Ring tournament. Femi has been a hot topic on “Busted Open Radio,” and following “Raw,” WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray gave his thoughts on “The Ruler,” who he said looked like he underwent an “evolution” as the match went on.

“Oba, when he first came out last night, looked like a defeated man, because he was a defeated man,” he explained. “But, by the end of the segment, Oba looked like he was ready to win the King of the Ring and he looked like he was ready for Brock Lesnar whenever Brock shows up again.”

Bully Ray explained he liked the range of emotion he saw from Femi. He said Femi came out without a pep in his step, barely able to do his strut down to the ring, because he was selling the seven F5s he took from Lesnar the night before, or because he was fighting off the disappointment. Then, “The Ruler” got in the ring to fight off Solo Sikoa, Carmelo Hayes, and Penta, as well as Talla Tonga on the outside.

“Here comes Oba to the ring, and we see Oba evolve,” Bully Ray said. “Go right into the physicality last night… We see Oba shotput Solo Sikoa and then pop him up for the powerbomb and beat him. Then, the most important part was the promo afterward, to me. Because, I saw a dejected Oba Femi coming to the ring last night, a not-so-ready Oba Femi, but by the end of the segment, I’m like, ‘This guy’s back on track.'”

AEW Dynamite Results 6/3 – Two Titles On The Line, Owen Hart Cup Tournaments Continue

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage for “AEW Dynamite” on June 3, 2026, coming to you live from the Siegel Center in Richmond, Virginia!

MJF will be putting his AEW World Championship on the line for the first time since becoming a three time titleholder as he defends against La Faccion Ingobernables’ Rush. While Mark Briscoe looked to secure a shot at the AEW World Championship during last Wednesday’s “Dynamite” and “AEW Collision” television special, MJF refused to grant him such and instead extended a shot to Rush after he interrupted the pair.

Following a successful defense against The Don Callis Family’s Brian Cage on the May 13 episode of “Dynamite”, Kevin Knight will be putting the TNT Championship on the line against his former JetSpeed tag team partner turned rival “Speedball” Mike Bailey. Moments after MJF had dethroned Darby Allin at AEW Double or Nothing on May 24 and Allin was about to be stretchered to the back, Knight landed a crossbody on Allin off the top rope. Bailey attempted to try to get Knight to revert back to his old attitude during last Wednesday’s “Dynamite” and “Collision” special, but Knight ultimately refused to listen and left Bailey laid out in the ring.

The first competitor to secure their spot in the finals of the 2026 Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 28 will be revealed tonight, as Will Ospreay collides with AEW National Champion Mark Davis in a semifinals match. Ospreay defeated Samoa Joe in the quarterfinals at AEW Double or Nothing, while Davis emerged victorious against “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry during the “Dynamite” and “Collision” television special last Wednesday.

Additionally, the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament is also set to continue tonight, as Alex Windsor faces a mystery wild card opponent in a quarterfinals match. The winner of tonight’s match will face either reigning CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone or Stardom star Hazuki in the semifinals depending on the victor of their quarterfinals match this coming Saturday on “Collision”.
