Biggest Winners And Losers Of The Week — 6/2/2026

This isn’t Jade’s first appearance in a recent winners/losers column — we made her a winner after Saturday Night’s Main Event, when she pinned Rhea Ripley. But even after losing to Ripley at Clash In Italy, it’s hard to see Cargill as anything but a winner. She defeated and took out Alexa Bliss on “SmackDown,” then proceeded to have what may have been the best match of her career against Ripley in Turin. And because of the way that match went down, she now has legitimate beef with Charlotte Flair, setting up a potential dream match that fans have been waiting for since Cargill first signed with WWE. And while their singles match is still a thing of the future, we don’t have to wait long for Cargill and Flair to get in the ring together — they’re set to be part of the same Queen of the Ring tournament four-way quarterfinal, meaning we’re very close to getting at least a taste of what Cargill vs. Flair could be.

That just winner’s stuff, right there. Cargill might not be WWE Women’s Champion, but she’s found a foil in Ripley that results in consistently excellent chemistry, and she could be about to find another one in Flair. Her position in the WWE hierarchy is rock-solid, and at this point the Jade Cargill experiment has to be considered a success.

WWE NXT Results 6/2 – Two Championships On The Line, Lizzy Rain Faces Zaria & More

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage for “WWE NXT” on June 2, 2026, coming to you live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida!

Tony D’Angelo will be putting the NXT Championship on the line on television for the first time since retaining against current “WWE Raw” star Ethan Page at Week One of the “NXT” Revenge special on April 14 as he defends against Kam Hendrix. Hendrix confronted D’Angelo during last Tuesday’s episode of “NXT” as Naraku was in the midst of assuring D’Angelo that he would protect him. When Hendrix looked to take out D’Angelo, Naraku lived up to his word by clotheslining D’Angelo out of the ring.

Lexis King will be putting the Speed Championship on the line for the first time since defeating EK Prosper to become titleholder at Week Two of the Revenge special on April 21 as he defends against Romeo Moreno. Moreno defeated Frazer in a First Round Match in a Speed Championship Number One Contenders Tournament last Tuesday, with another First Round Match in a Speed Championship Number One Contenders Tournament between Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux having ended in a no contest and caused neither man to advance.

Lizzy Rain will be back in action as she collides with Zaria. With Rain and her ally Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley having previously scored a win against Zaria and Nikkita Lyons on the May 12 episode of “NXT” after Zaria left Lyons alone in the ring, Zaria and Rain got into a brawl backstage last Tuesday as Shiloh Hill looked to get Zaria to sign his petition to become Mr. NXT.

North American Champion Myles Borne will be joining forces with Tavion Heights to go head-to-head with DarkState’s Osiris Griffin and Cutler James. DarkState blindsided Borne and Heights with an attack backstage last Tuesday as the former No Quarter Catch Crew stablemates were in the midst of a conversation wherein Borne expressed he thought Heights needed to slow down a little bit.

Eddy Mansfield Reacts to Kevin Nash’s Call for Wrestlers to Unionize, Suggests Wrestlers Should Try to Get Into SAG-AFTRA, Questions why WWE Didn’t Help Marty Jannetty, more

Show: Wrestling Epicenter
Guest: Eddy Mansfield
Date: 06/02/2026
Your Host: “Arizona” James Walsh”I’ve got a 3 motion picture deal that has come up too. And, that is holding my damn book up. They want it to be up to date. I’ve got about 4 chapters left that I want to write. Because, I want to write about the people that reached out and helped me. Some real heavy hitters. Hardly anybody ever helped me in my day, James.  Except myself! But, these guys and girls are real big heavy hitters in the industry and I want to make sure and mention them.””I’ve got a lot of great stories in there. It is not a slam book. I’m not going to just slam people. It is a story book, man! I tell my story. But, I’ll give you one. We talked about Terry Funk giving you the “Arizona James” name. Well, here’s a story about Funk. He was with me and I had some Barbizon models at the Omni. Funk was with me, he had a falling out with his wife. She kicked him out or something. So, he went with me. We hung out with these Barbizon models, we had to take them back to the school. It is a Hell of a story. We were cutting through neighborhoods to get them back to the school. Well, we get to the front of the building and this big fat Georgia redneck security guard – The stereotypical Georgia redneck… I want to say more about him but I can’t. Anyway, he goes, “What you boys doin’ here?” Terry funk looked back at him, and I almost died. Terry goes, “I came to get my toothpaste.” (laughs) The guy continued, “You can’t be here.” Terry said, “Eddy, you grab one leg, I’ll grab the other, and we’ll throw his fat ass off this balcony.” The fat guy went “woah, woah, woah” and backed off, Terry said, “Now you leave us alone while I go get my toothpaste!” Well, we got the girls, we went back off between the houses with the girls, and that was that. That is a true story.””Being successful in life makes you a winner. I’ve fought a lot of battles and I’ve won all of them. Guys still ask me, “Do you miss the wrestling business?” Well, yeah. I do miss it. But, I don’t miss the bullshit. I used to call wrestling Canadian money. I didn’t want to make Canadian money. I wanted to make real money.””What do you think? Hell yeah! Marty made them a lot of money over the years. The Rockers were one of the hottest tag teams during one of the hottest eras,. Why didn’t they reward him like they did Shawn Michaels? I’ve known Marty Jannetty for decades. Marty Jannetty has done far more good than he ever did bad. There would never have been a Shawn Michaels if it wasn’t for Marty Jannetty. Did you ever think about that?””The wrestling business is a soap opera. It has more lies in it than reality. The wrestling business sucks when it comes to taking care of its own. That is why I stood up years ago to try and get guys medical help. We break down, man! I could name 300 guys that are dead now that could have used help. That is what breaks my heart about this business. It doesn’t take care of the ones that make it the money.””Welcome to the fucking party, Kevin! I’m glad he said it. But, it should have happened years ago. And, when they just released a bunch of talented guys from the roster and the very next day announce that Nick Khan and Mark Shapiro each got a million dollar a year plus raise, that is bad, man. That is why the boys should have a voice.””You know, when I ran the IWF in Universal Studios in Orlando, if I was able to keep it going a little longer, I was going to try and find a way to get the wrestlers in SAG, the Screen Actors Guild. Just being on television could qualify you for AFTRA. But, it is all combined now, SAGAFTRA.  Being a part of that would do a lot of good for a lot of guys families. They would know, “Well, I’ve got this, I’ve got that.” Now, they go to work and they go, “Man, I hope I don’t get hurt tonight.” It is sad that they have to do that. Some people say, “Well, they don’t have to do that.” Hey, look. Wrestlers are human too!””Why isn’t he in there already? I mean, seriously, why isn’t he? The Rockers were one of the hottest tag teams of one of the hottest periods in their company’s history. Marty and Shawn were far and away better than Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, the Rock and Roll Express. They were. So, why isn’t he in already? He should be.””Why not? It isn’t like pro football isn’t rigged. Baseball… All major sports are, in some way, fixed. Why do you think a manager puts in a pitcher that has a 5.4 ERA as a reliever in a  close game? Why do you think there are controversial referee calls in football? It is all bullshit. At least pro wrestling is up front about it being predetermined.””Look at the NBA coaches that got fired for it. And still, Pete Rose is not in the Baseball Hall of Fame. What a disgrace.””No. There will always be wrestling. Always. WWE is a big company and even if it does dip down a little, it will always find  away.””I watched AEW a couple of weeks ago. At least, I tried to. I saw a match that literally had a dozen supericks within a minute or two of each other. What are they doing? And, they’ve got that Tony Schiavone. He was one of the guys who helped kill WCW. And, he’s calling their shows laughing and giggling at the stupidity of it. What an idiot. If they gave me the book for one month, I could turn that whole company completely around.””Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar is real. He’s an athlete. When I see him, I know pro wrestling is in a good place. Bron Breakker, Rick Steiner’s son. He’s a real athlete. I believe him when he’s out there. There are other guys too. And, the “Wise Man” Paul Heyman. He’s the best manager of all time.””Bobby Heenan couldn’t carry Paul Heyman’s jock. He really couldn’t. Paul Heyman can get heat with the most simple things. He is so good and is a genius in his own right.”

WWE’s AJ Styles Blames Paul Heyman For ‘Curse’ Placed On The Vision

There is perhaps no stable in WWE history, at least in recent memory, with more bad luck than The Vision, as the group has been consistently hit by the “injury bug” across mostly all of its members over the last year. From injuries to Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker that kept them away from each other at WrestleMania 42, to Logan Paul’s recent triceps tear that will have him out of action for possibly six months, things have not gone smoothly for the group.

WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles joked about The Vision on an episode of his “Phenomenally Retro Podcast” ahead of WWE Clash in Italy. He blamed one member, one of the only men to not go down with an injury.

“The Vision is cursed,” Styles declared. “It’s Paul Heyman. He’s a curse.”

The stable started to take form when Heyman joined up with Rollins at WrestleMania 41, following “The Visionary’s” win over CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Rollins would go on to add Breakker and Bronson Reed, who is also currently on the shelf with a torn bicep, to his faction, before getting injured himself.

Rollins was written out of the group by Breakker when he suffered a shoulder injury in October, then Breakker suffered a hernia in February before this year’s WrestleMania. Both men returned to appear at the event, however. Paul was the most recent member to suffer an injury, leading to Breakker taking over his spot alongside Austin Theory as World Tag Team Champions, but after Clash in Italy and the subsequent “WWE Raw,” Breakker also seemed to suffer yet another injury scare.

WWE CCO Triple H Pays Tribute To Late Crew Member

It has been a sad year in professional wrestling when it comes to deaths in the business, and WWE has mourned the passing of multiple behind-the-scenes employees in the first half of 2026. One of those was Davey Coates, WWE’s international tour manager. The company’s COO, Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced Coates’ death in a Facebook post on March 14, and on Tuesday, paid further tribute to him on what would have been Coates’ 64th birthday.

Levesque took to X (formerly Twitter) and posted a 30 second clip of himself alongside Coates’ son, Henry. He noted that the last week marked WWE’s first international tour without Coates, but the first one with Henry in his father’s seat.

“I saw Henry when I arrived at #WWEClash and was greeted in the same way his dad hundreds of times before,” Levesque wrote. “On what would have been his 64th birthday, I’m thinking of Davey, Henry, and their entire family. I’m grateful to work with all the unbelievably talented men and women who make our company what it is – and who deliver each and every night, in every city around the globe.”

The video shows Henry and Levesque embracing upon the latter’s arrival to the show, which was also briefly shown on the Clash in Italy pre-show. The pair then pose for a photo, Henry in a black WWE polo shirt, and the men embrace again.

WWE traveled to Europe for a leg of its summer tour, revolving around Clash in Italy in Turin. The company will also present live shows in various countries before briefly returning to the United States, then going to the United Kingdom for shows ahead of Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
