Update On WWE Star Ludwig Kaiser’s Battery Arrest

Earlier this week, WWE talent Ludwig Kaiser was arrested and charged with first degree misdemeanor battery, ahead of this weekend’s Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide Noche de Los Grandes pay-per-view, at which he’s expected to compete as El Grande Americano.

Reports since have noted that Kaiser was ultimately released on a $1000 bond that his former stablemate and real-life friend, GUNTHER, paid. Per a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kaiser pled not guilty against the charges and will have his court hearing on July 18, while being allowed free travel and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim, Richard Reap.

The report also went into Reap’s incident report, wherein he claimed that he was followed into an elevator by Kaiser and his girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte, before the two began “aggressively kissing.” As he got off the elevator, Reap claims he simply told the two to “please have some manners,” which led to Kaiser attacking him. The officer on the case, Officer Victor Cortes, has since confirmed that Reap sustained head injuries which seem to match with his version of the story.

Another version of the story exists which alleges that on his way off the elevator, Reap threatened to call ICE on Bazarte to make sure she gets deported. Following this, Kaiser roughed him up but never struck him. The surveillance footage that picked the scuffle up seems more likely to corroborate the first story at time of writing, with the Observer noting that the second story felt like “something people wanted out to keep Kaiser as a hero in Mexico.” Either way, it seems like WWE is backing Kaiser, and the Observer report indicates the story will most likely disappear.

Further Details On Joseph Hennig (FKA Curtis Axel) Being Arrested For Drunk Driving

Further details have emerged regarding the arrest of former WWE star Curtis Axel, whose real name is Joseph Hennig, the son of “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig, for DWI. The 46-year-old, who has largely remained out of the public eye following his second departure from WWE in 2022, was arrested on May 17 for DWI and various other charges.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, who cited the local report from The Watch MN, Hennig was released from jail two days after his arrest, which reportedly involved a crash in a McDonald’s drive-thru where Hennig backed into another vehicle.

Police were called to the scene, where they found Hennig and claimed he smelled strongly of alcohol. They later found an open bottle of vodka in his vehicle, according to the initial report. Hennig reportedly had to be forcibly removed from his vehicle by police after he refused to get out of his truck and officers had to reach inside the vehicle to turn it off, all while Hennig reportedly swore at them and used a slur.

Hennig also reportedly refused chemical testing during the arrest. He swore at McDonald’s employees, as well as the driver of the vehicle he backed into during the incident.

According to Meltzer, the two DWI/DUI charges are classified under state law as gross misdemeanors. Hennig was also charged with obstructing legal process, a traffic citation regarding the open container in his vehicle, and disorderly conduct. The initial report from The Watch MN said that Hennig had the option of $0 bail with conditions, or $12,000 bail or bond without.

Donald Trump Reportedly Purchased TKO Stock Ahead Of White House UFC Event

United States President, and WWE Hall of Famer, Donald Trump reportedly purchased stock in TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of both WWE and UFC, ahead of UFC Freedom 250, the event that will be held on the lawn of the White House next month.

According to the Huffington Post on Friday, Trump purchased stock valued between $15,001 and $50,000 back in March. The purchase was revealed via Trump’s financial disclosure filing on May 12, according to the outlet.

Jordan Libowitz, a source from the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, DC was quoted in the article, blasting the president for using UFC Freedom 250 to promote a company he owns stock in. Libowitz called it a conflict of interest.

The White House had not responded to the outlet’s request for comment at the time of the article’s publication. Huffington Post noted that various officials, including Vice President JD Vance, have publicly stated that the president personally does not decide what stocks to purchase or sell.

UFC Freedom 250 will take place from the White House’s south lawn on June 14, Trump’s 80th birthday, though the event is advertised to be part of the various celebrations across Washington, DC and the country to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. UFC President Dana White revealed in May that the event will host 4,300 people, with many in attendance being members of the military.

Seven fights have been announced for the card. Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje, in a lightweight title bout, will be the main event of the show. For those not in attendance at the White House, the event will stream on Paramount+, the exclusive home of UFC events in the states.

The Vision Expected To Expand With New Members

The Vision Expected To Expand With New Members

The Vision faction is expected to grow in the near future, with plans to add new members reportedly in place even before Logan Paul’s recent injury.

Dave Meltzer shared an update in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noting that internal discussions about expanding the group had already taken place prior to the current injury situation affecting the faction.

“On Raw, they said that Paul Heyman had put ‘The Vision’ and not individual members of the team in all contracts related to the title, so Theory and Bron Breakker (the only members of the team right now not injured, although I expect them to add members — besides Maxxine Dupri — and there has been talk of that even before this injury) are going to be the tag team champions for now. The main event with Paul and Theory beating the Street Profits was a very strong match.”

The Vision currently consists of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and Paul Heyman as the group’s manager. Seth Rollins originally led the faction before exiting in October 2025.

Injuries have impacted the group’s active lineup. Logan Paul recently revealed that he suffered a torn tricep at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23, with WWE estimating a recovery period of around six months. Paul has stated he expects to return sooner than that timeline. Bronson Reed has also been sidelined for some time, though recent social media activity has hinted at his eventual return.

With both Paul and Reed out, Bron Breakker and Austin Theory are currently the only fully active members. According to the storyline explanation on RAW, Paul Heyman ensured that contracts were signed under “The Vision” name rather than individual competitors. This allows the faction to continue holding the tag team titles despite injuries to key members.

The group was formed at WrestleMania 41 on April 19, 2025, when Seth Rollins defeated CM Punk and Roman Reigns with help from Heyman, who turned on his former allies. Breakker and Reed joined soon after, while Logan Paul aligned with the faction following Survivor Series WarGames in 2025. Austin Theory was later revealed as a masked member before being officially added.

With expansion plans already discussed, The Vision may soon introduce new members to strengthen its presence while dealing with its current injury setbacks.
