WWE Raw Results 5/25 – Intercontinental Title Up For Grabs, Oba Femi Appears & More

Perez and Rodriguez blindside Bayley and Valkyria from behind. Bayley and Valkyria respond by raining down right hands on Perez and Rodriguez. The bell rings and Valkyria pins Perez. Perez kicks out, but Rodriguez and Bayley tag in. Bayley and Valkyria double team on Rodriguez, and Bayley fires off a shoulder on Rodriguez’s midsection.

Valkyria tags in and fires off shoulders of her own on Rodriguez’s midsection. She fires off stomps on her and tags in Bayley, but Rodriguez levels Bayley and Valkyria with a double crossbody and fires off back elbows on Valkyria in the corner of the ring.

Rodriguez distracts the referee as Perez looks to trip up Valkyria. Valkyria sees Perez coming, but Rodriguez jams her knee into Valkyria’s throat. Perez lands a stomp on Valkyria’s arm through the middle rope, allowing Rodriguez to deliver a Corkscrew Elbow to Valkyria.

During the commercial break, Perez delivers a Russian Leg Sweep to Valkyria and pins her. Valkyria kicks out, but Perez delivers a hair whip to her and begins to target Valkyria’s arm. Rodriguez tags back in and lands a boot on Valkyria’s arm as Perez holds it in place, then cinches in a Bear Hug on her. Valkyria fires off back elbows on Rodriguez to escape.

Valkyria low bridges Rodriguez out of the ring back from the break, then sends Rodriguez crashing into the ring post face first on the outside. Bayley tags in and levels Rodriguez with a suicide dive on her, then sends her crashing into the mat and goes for a pin. Rodriguez kicks out and levels Bayley with a clothesline, but Perez tags back in and Bayley catches her with a Sunset Flip into the corner.

Valkyria tags in and lands a Blockbuster-Fallaway Slam to Perez. Valkyria pins Perez, but Morgan places Perez’s foot on the bottom rope to break the fall. The referee catches Morgan and ejects her from ringside, and Bayley pulls Morgan off the ring apron. Rodriguez then runs over Bayley with a big boot.

Inside the ring, Valkyria levels Perez with a dropkick. Morgan tells Dominik something as she heads to the back as Dominik pats his pocket as if looking for an object.

Bayley tags in, but Dominik distracts the referee. This opens the door for Rodriguez to push Bayley off the top rope and Perez to land a Pop Rox on Bayley. Perez then pins Bayley, but Valkyria breaks the fall and Rodriguez looks to send Valkyria crashing out of the ring. Valkyria counters into a hurricanrana.

Dominik tosses his AAA Mega Championship belt in the ring aiming for Perez, but Bayley grabs it at the same time as Perez. The two women wrestle over the AAA Mega Championship belt, but Perez accidentally hits Dominik with it when Bayley releases it. Bayley then takes advantage and rolls up Perez for the win.

Winners: Bayley and Lyra Valkyria

Mick Foley Reacts After Becoming “All Elite”

After officially becoming “All Elite” at AEW Double or Nothing 2026, Mick Foley has shared his reaction following his debut appearance for All Elite Wrestling.

The “Hardcore Legend” took to Instagram shortly after the event to acknowledge his first official night with AEW, expressing gratitude for the opportunity and the reception he received.

“ALL ELITE,” Foley posted. “I am so genuinely happy to be part of @AEW, and to have contributed in a small way to such an amazing night of wrestling.”

Foley also received a public message of support from his daughter Noelle, who was in attendance during the show and was seen cheering him on from ringside. She shared a video of Foley’s entrance and reflected on the moment.

“How cool was last night?!?” she wrote. “Congrats @realmickfoley It was so special seeing you out there doing your thing!!”

During the segment, MJF mocked Foley’s legacy, suggesting he was best known for losing big matches. Foley fired back by referencing MJF’s own quick title loss on a previous AEW Dynamite episode. The confrontation escalated when MJF delivered a low blow to Foley, prompting Darby Allin to run him off.

Details on How WWE Clash in Italy Came Together

Details on How WWE Clash in Italy Came Together

Details on How WWE Clash in Italy Came Together – WWE’s upcoming Clash in Italy Premium Live Event on May 31 at Inalpi Arena in Turin is being positioned as a major international showcase, with the show also serving a key role in WWE’s growing global distribution strategy through Netflix.

The event, which features a WrestleMania-level card, will air internationally on Netflix as part of WWE’s ongoing partnership with the streaming platform, while U.S. audiences will be able to watch via ESPN Unlimited.

Netflix Vice President of Sports Gabe Spitzer recently spoke about the planning behind the event during an appearance on The Main Event with Andrew Marchand. Spitzer explained that WWE and Netflix executives began coordinating early in 2026, with Italy identified as a priority expansion market.

Spitzer noted that Netflix’s WWE rollout in Italy was set for April, which helped influence the decision to stage a major Premium Live Event in the country shortly afterward.

“When we sit down with them at the beginning of this year, whether it’s Nick Khan or Paul Levesque, their Chief Content Officer, it’s what are places that we can go around the world that’s gonna help grow WWE but also be beneficial to Netflix and this year, we knew, in Italy, we were launching in April and later this month in May, they’re gonna do one of their big PLEs, Premium Live Events in Turin so, it’s a way to push people to watch on Netflix but it’s a way to grow their business as well.”

The decision reflects WWE’s broader international expansion strategy, which has seen Premium Live Events increasingly staged outside the United States in key streaming markets. Clash in Italy is expected to continue that trend with a major card aimed at driving global viewership.

In the United States, the event will air live on ESPN Unlimited, continuing WWE’s split-distribution model for its Premium Live Events depending on region.

Current Card for WWE Clash in Italy

  • Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. GUNTHER

MVP Explains Hurt Syndicate Move to AEW, Blasts Triple H

MVP Explains Hurt Syndicate Move to AEW, Blasts Triple H

MVP has shared a detailed behind-the-scenes account of how The Hurt Business transitioned from WWE to AEW as The Hurt Syndicate, claiming he was the architect behind the move. Speaking on Marking Out with MVP and Dwayne Swayze, he also directed strong criticism at Paul Levesque, calling him “a coward and a liar.”

The decision, according to MVP, was triggered after the release of Shelton Benjamin following his second WWE run. MVP said Benjamin’s exit without an offer for a backstage or developmental role pushed him toward leaving the company.

“When the Hurt Business was broken up, and then Shelton, after 20 years, was unceremoniously released. Just like, okay, you’re done. They didn’t offer him a job as a trainer, as a producer. Like, yo, Shelton is one of the all-time greats. He’s underappreciated. And he doesn’t get the flowers he deserves. But legitimately, Shelton is great. So, having said that, they just released Shelton. So, me and Bobby were still under contract. At this point, I was with Omos and Bobby was doing his thing with the Pride. And I made up my mind, my contract was coming up, me and Bobby had contracts at similar times. And I made up my mind that I don’t want to be here anymore.”

MVP also pointed to communication issues involving Triple H and Bobby Lashley as another factor in his decision.

“And if Triple H is in charge, then I definitely want to be here. Because I don’t like Triple H. I don’t respect Triple H. I think he’s a coward and a liar. And there have been many situations where he was dealing with Bobby, where he didn’t tell Bobby the truth creatively what he wanted to do. There are multiple times that I tried to talk to him. And he would always, I’ll get with you in a little bit or the few times that I got a chance to get him in his office alone, he would call somebody to come in. He didn’t want to deal with me. I don’t respect that. Tell me. I’m a professional. Tell me how you feel. We’re doing business. Based on it, you ain’t got to like me. There’s lots of people throughout my career that I’ve worked with that I don’t like. We’re making money. We’re doing business.”

MVP said he eventually encouraged Lashley to leave WWE and reunite with Benjamin once their contracts expired.

“So, I told Bobby when we were sitting in catering, ‘Dog, I’m not going to re-sign. Don’t resign. You and me get Shelton and let’s go to AEW. Let’s go.’ Bobby was like, ‘Man, I don’t know.’ Like they were paying Bobby bank. And you know, hey, Bobby was on that level that he could just show up and you get easy money. But Bobby’s not that kind of guy. So, after a few weeks, Bobby started to kind of see the environment for what it was, and he was like, ‘Yeah, your right. When our contracts run out, let’s stop re-signing. Let’s get with Shelton. And let’s take this show up across the street.’”

He also revealed that he had already secured the name before the move was finalized.

“And I already knew what I was doing cuz I had already put in a trademark for the Hurt Syndicate. Oh, you already came up with the name. I was already working on this. Already a plan. And I was in Bobby’s ear every week. Bobby, let’s go, dog. Like, we just get Shelton. Let’s go across the street. And it finally came to the point where Bobby was like, ‘Yeah, you’re right. There’s no future here for us. So, my contract ran out. Bobby’s contract ran out. We didn’t re-sign. By our choice. Contrary to what somebody might say, we chose not to cuz we already knew. Shelton lives 5 minutes from me. Like, that’s my brother. So, we had already been talking like, ‘Look, I’m working on Bobby. Let’s get the squad together. And even if we didn’t go to AEW, we could go to Japan. We could do it. Dude, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley. There’s no way it’s going to work.’”

MVP concluded by explaining how AEW officially entered the picture.

“So, at the end of the day, unfortunately, once our contracts were done, we had our conversation about what we wanted to do. We had our representation reach out to Tony Khan. Meetings were had. Tony Khan was like, ‘Yes, I want you guys here.’ And we had a great conversation with Tony Khan, and we were able to take the Hurt Business to AEW as the Hurt Syndicate. So, that whole thing came about because we knew where we wanted to go.”

Intercontinental Championship Match Added to WWE RAW

Penta vs Je’Von Evans Intercontinental Title Match Set for WWE RAW

A new title match has been confirmed for tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, as Penta is set to defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Je’Von Evans.

WWE officially announced the bout via its website, confirming that the championship match will take place during the broadcast from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.

“Intercontinental Champion Penta continues to build his reputation as a true fighting champion as he prepares to battle the dynamic Je’Von Evans in a title match. Find out who will leave Raw with the title, tonight at 8 ET/5 PT on Netflix.”

The announcement comes just two days after Penta successfully retained the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23. Rather than taking time off, the champion is immediately scheduled for another defense, highlighting WWE’s current presentation of him as an active titleholder.

Evans is no stranger to high-stakes opportunities. He previously challenged for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42, competing in a six-pack ladder match where Penta ultimately retained the title. This upcoming match now gives Evans another chance in a one-on-one setting.

Penta has held the Intercontinental Championship since defeating Dominik Mysterio in March. His reign has now reached 84 days and is nearing the three-month milestone, adding further importance to each defense.

Tonight’s episode of RAW serves as the final show before WWE Clash in Italy, scheduled for May 31 in Turin. With momentum building heading into the event, this title match could play a key role in shaping the championship landscape.

Here is the announced lineup:

  • Oba Femi opens the show
  • Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu contract signing for the Clash in Italy Tribal Combat match
  • Bayley and Lyra Valkyria vs The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez)
  • Intercontinental Champion Penta defends against Je’Von Evans
