Jacob Fatu Destroys Roman Reigns During WWE RAW “Acknowledgment Ceremony”

Jacob Fatu Destroys Roman Reigns During WWE RAW “Acknowledgment Ceremony”

Jacob Fatu left chaos behind during the May 11 episode of WWE RAW after completely destroying Roman Reigns and The Usos during what was supposed to be an acknowledgment ceremony.

The segment was advertised as a major face-to-face moment between Roman Reigns and Fatu following their match at WWE Backlash, but things quickly spiraled out of control before Fatu even reached the ring.

After Roman demanded that the Knoxville crowd acknowledge him, WWE cut to backstage footage showing Fatu storming through the arena while Jey Uso desperately tried to calm him down.

Jey warned Fatu that he was creating problems for both himself and the family, repeatedly telling him to think carefully before moving forward.

Fatu ignored the warning entirely.

Jacob Fatu Refuses To Acknowledge Roman Reigns

During the backstage confrontation, Fatu headbutted Jey before unloading punches and additional headbutts.

Fatu then made his intentions crystal clear.

“You want me to acknowledge you? That ain’t happening,” Fatu told Roman while marching toward the ring. “You’re gonna have to beat it out of me.”

Jimmy Uso attempted to stop Fatu near ringside, but Fatu punched him and launched him violently into the barricade.

Once inside the ring, the confrontation between Fatu and Roman immediately exploded into a fight. Roman struck first with punches and drove Fatu into the turnbuckles, but Fatu quickly answered with a flying forearm before clotheslining Roman over the top rope.

Fatu attempted a suicide dive, but Roman countered by smashing a steel chair across his back multiple times.

Roman screamed at Fatu to acknowledge him or leave WWE altogether while continuing the assault with repeated chair shots.

However, Fatu refused to stay down.

After countering a spear attempt with a superkick, Fatu locked in the Tongan Death Grip and shoved Roman over the top rope before connecting with a suicide dive moments later.

The destruction escalated from there.

Jacob Fatu Powerbombs Roman Reigns Through Announce Table

Fatu repeatedly slammed Roman into the ring post and steel steps before clearing the announce table at ringside.

Roman briefly fought back with a Superman Punch, but Fatu regained control by applying the Tongan Death Grip once again before repeatedly headbutting him.

The segment reached its biggest moment when Fatu powerbombed Roman Reigns through the announce table in a brutal crash.

WWE officials rushed to ringside in an attempt to separate the two men, but Fatu broke free and continued attacking Roman.

RAW General Manager Adam Pearce ordered Fatu to stop, but the situation only became more chaotic.

Fatu grabbed Roman’s championship belt, licked the title, and walked up the entrance aisle before suddenly charging back toward the ring area.

As Roman, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso regrouped near the barricade, Fatu sprinted full speed into all three men and speared them through the ringside barrier in a violent collision.

The segment closed with the wreckage scattered around ringside while Fatu stood tall over Roman Reigns and The Usos.

Two Title Matches Confirmed For WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23

World Wrestling Entertainment has officially announced two championship matches for the upcoming edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event scheduled for Saturday, May 23.

The announcements were made during this week’s episode of WWE RAW as the company continued building the card for the special event.

One of the featured matches will see Ethan Page challenge Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Penta currently holds the title and will enter the event looking to continue his reign against one of WWE’s rising stars. The match also gives Ethan Page an opportunity to capture his first major singles championship since joining WWE television full time.

Another championship match confirmed for the show involves the WWE World Tag Team Championships.

Logan Paul and Austin Theory, collectively known as The Vision, are scheduled to defend the titles against The Street Profits.

Raquel Rodriguez References Paige Scandal On WWE RAW

Raquel Rodriguez References Paige Scandal On WWE RAW

Raquel Rodriguez took a deeply personal shot at Paige during the May 11, 2026 episode of WWE RAW, escalating the rivalry surrounding the WWE Women’s Tag Team division.

The segment began with Paige and Brie Bella coming to the ring to address the state of the women’s tag division. The duo called out The Judgment Day, leading to an immediate confrontation with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.

Rodriguez mocked the return of Paige and Brie Bella by referring to it as a “nostalgia tour,” while Perez followed up by criticizing the Bella legacy.

Perez claimed she once admired Brie Bella growing up before eventually realizing the Bellas had “set the bar so low.”

The confrontation became far more personal once Rodriguez shifted her attention directly toward Paige.

“Given a million chances and still fumbles every single one,” Rodriguez said. “Listen, I know we’re all just waiting for your next big scandal to hit.”

The line appeared to reference several controversial periods from Paige’s WWE career, including her wellness policy suspensions in 2016 and the leaked private photos and videos that became public in 2017.

Her highly publicized relationship with former WWE star Alberto Del Rio also generated major media attention during that period.

By incorporating those references into the storyline, WWE significantly intensified the feud beyond a standard championship rivalry. The angle has increasingly centered around a generational divide within the women’s division, with Paige and Brie Bella attempting to prove they still belong near the top of WWE while Rodriguez and Perez continue presenting themselves as the future of the division.

In recent weeks, Rodriguez and Perez have repeatedly accused the veteran stars of relying too heavily on nostalgia while preventing younger talent from fully taking over the spotlight.

Following Rodriguez’s comments on RAW, Paige finally snapped and attacked her with a running elbow strike, triggering a ringside brawl involving all sides.

Brie Bella quickly joined the fight as Paige and Bella briefly gained momentum before the numbers advantage shifted once Liv Morgan got involved to assist Rodriguez and Perez.

The segment further advanced what has become one of WWE RAW’s most heated rivalries in the women’s division heading into the coming weeks.

Asuka Says Goodbye To Iyo Sky In Emotional WWE RAW Segment

Asuka WWE Status “Up In The Air” After Emotional RAW Farewell

Asuka appeared to officially say goodbye on the May 11 episode of WWE RAW in an emotional backstage segment with IYO SKY that further fueled speculation surrounding her WWE future.

The moment aired shortly after Je’Von Evans defeated Rusev using the OG Cutter. Backstage, SKY was approached by Asuka, who embraced her before speaking in Japanese during a deeply personal exchange.

Asuka told SKY she had been searching for someone capable of carrying on her legacy and now believed SKY was that person.

SKY became emotional while responding, telling Asuka they would “always be family” before saying goodbye.

Asuka then replied with “see ya later,” hugged SKY once again, and walked out of the arena carrying a suitcase in what was presented as a major farewell moment.

After the segment concluded, Michael Cole addressed the uncertainty surrounding Asuka’s future, stating that her WWE status was “up in the air” following her loss to IYO SKY at WWE Backlash.

Asuka WWE Status Still Viewed As Temporary Hiatus

The RAW segment served as a direct continuation of the story that began at WWE Backlash PLE, where Asuka lost to IYO SKY in a highly praised singles match. Following the bout, the two shared an emotional embrace that immediately sparked retirement speculation online and backstage within WWE.

Despite the presentation of the segment, multiple reports continue suggesting Asuka’s departure is currently expected to be temporary rather than a full retirement.

It was recently reported that Asuka’s planned time away had already been discussed internally for quite some time and was unrelated to WWE’s recent roster cuts following WrestleMania season.

Additional reports have stated that Asuka remains under a long-term WWE contract despite some descriptions internally characterizing her current status as “semi-retired.”

PWInsider also previously reported that Asuka remains aligned with WWE and is expected to spend significant time in Japan during her hiatus.

Although WWE has not publicly confirmed how long Asuka will be away from television, the tone of Monday’s segment strongly suggested this was intended as a temporary farewell rather than the definitive end of her wrestling career.

The segment also positioned IYO SKY as the clear successor to Asuka’s legacy, with WWE heavily emphasizing the mentor-student connection between the two stars during the emotional exchange.

For now, Asuka’s next move remains uncertain, but her departure from RAW was presented as one of the most emotional moments on WWE television in recent months.

UFC’s Justin Gaethje Calls Ilia Topuria The ‘2nd Toughest Test Of Ever’

Justin Gaethje will look to finally get his hands on undisputed UFC gold this summer when he challenges Ilia Topuria for the UFC Lightweight Championship at The White House on June 14. Gaethje earned the right to face Topuria by defeating Paddy Pimblett to become the interim champion, making him the first man to win an interim title twice, but he has never held the elusive undisputed strap for himself, and while he will do everything in his power to dethrone “El Matador,” Gaethje knows exactly what kind of task is in front of him.

During the UFC Freedom 250 press conference, Gaethje was asked where Topuria stacks up in terms of his past opponents given that “The Highlight” has faced nearly all of the best lightweights of his generation. Rather than downplaying the current champion for a reaction from the crowd, Gaethje admitted that only one man looks to have been more of a test than what Topuria will look to be at The White House. “I think he’s my second toughest test ever next to Khabib [Nurmagomedov],” Gaethje said. “Yeah those three knockouts, [Alexander] Volkanovski, [Max] Holloway, [Charles] Oliveira, yeah legendary. So it’s just going to make this win that much more spectacular.”

Topuria’s three fight run where he knocked out Alexander Volkanovski, Max Holloway, and Charles Oliveira is seen by many as one of the greatest runs in MMA history. “El Matador” won both the UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Championships in this run, became the first person to both knock down and knock out Holloway, and handed Oliveira his first knock out loss in eight years. However, Gaethje is known for his punching power, and considering that Khabib is also known as one of the best lightweights of all time, Gaethje knows he’ll have to pull out something special on The White House lawn.
