Matt Hardy On His And Jeff’s TNA Presentation: ‘Changes Are Coming’

After 265 days as TNA World Tag Team Champions for the fourth time, The Hardys find themselves at a bit of a crossroads, having lost the titles to Bear Bronson and Brian Myers of The System at TNA Rebellion, all while continuing a feud with Vincent and Dutch of The Righteous. That would seemingly make it the perfect time for the Hardys to switch things up a bit, and according to Matt Hardy, that’s exactly what’s happening.

At the end of the latest episode of “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,” co-host Jon Alba asked if there was anything that Matt would like to promote. After first indicating he had nothing else to add, the TNA star, who added years to his career a decade ago by creating the “Broken” Matt Hardy character, indicated that another reinvention was coming for both him and Jeff Hardy, and that it would be playing out on TV very soon.

“I’ll tell you what; make sure to check out ‘Impact,'” Hardy said. “Becuase the next few weeks, I think there is going to be changes happening not just to Matt Hardy, but also to Jeff Hardy. And for the longest time, we’ve been talking about doing this, and I think everything has been green lit. So changes are coming, and we’re very excited about it. And there’s nothing I personally love more than getting to experiment in brand new stuff, stuff [from an] untouched area. And that’s where we’re going, and Brother Nero is very excited about it as well, which makes me even more excited.”

UFC Legend Dustin Poirier Lists Greatest Lightweights Ever, Omits Former Rivals

Dustin Poirier is one of the most celebrated fighters in MMA history, with the majority of his career taking place in the lightweight division. “The Diamond” faced some of the greatest lightweights of all time during his run with the UFC, challenging for the UFC Lightweight Championship on three occasions while winning the Interim UFC Lightweight Championship in 2019. Given the caliber of opponents he has faced, Poirier was asked during an episode of “UFC Deep Waters” who are the five greatest lightweights in UFC history, not including himself. Poirier gave his five, leaving out two of his biggest rivals in the process.

“Of all time? Khabib [Nurmagomedov], Islam [Makhachev], BJ Penn…man this is where it gets tough. Ilia [Topuria], okay we can put him in there…I mean do you go Benson Henderson or Frankie Edgar? Frankie. I was thinking in my mind, I was thinking way back…Frankie for sure.” While everyone on the show seemed to be in agreement with Poirier’s picks, fight fans noticed that both Conor McGregor and Charles Oliveira were both left off of the list.

While the peak of McGregor’s success in the UFC came in the featherweight division, he is still a former UFC Lightweight Champion and had a trilogy of fights with Poirier, the latter two taking place at 155 pounds with Poirier getting the win on both occasions. These victories avenged the loss he suffered at the hands of McGregor at featherweight back in 2014. As for Oliveira, he defeated Poirier at UFC 269 to retain the UFC Lightweight Championship in what many considered the final chance for “The Diamond” to hold undisputed gold in the UFC. Poirier also omitted Max Holloway from the list, another man he had a trilogy of fights with, but Holloway has never held gold at lightweight, hence why he was left off the list.

WWE Behind-The-Scenes Video Shows Triple H Producing WrestleMania 42 Entrances

In this new era of WWE under the leadership of TKO and Triple H, the promotion has become a lot more open about giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at how the sausage is made, particularly when it comes to the Netflix series “WWE Unreal.” But while fans still have a bit of a wait until “Unreal” returns for another season, WWE is giving fans a sneak peak at how Triple H put together certain aspects of WrestleMania 42.

On YouTube and across social media platforms on Wednesday, WWE released a near seven minute video showing Triple H producing WrestleMania entrances. The video begins with footage from rehearsals of Day One of WrestleMania. Among the footage shown was a rehearsal of the “Star Spangled Banner” by the Las Vegas Mass Choir, Becky Lynch’s entrance to a performance by Wonder Years, AJ Lee’s entrance with a group of children, Liv Morgan’s entrance to her new song “Bite Me,” and a brief interaction between Triple H and CM Punk, where Triple H “thanked him for the house.”

Meanwhile, footage of Day 2 rehearsals showed Joe Jonas’ practicing his version of the “Star Spangled Banner,” Triple H giving direction to the mini wrestlers that participated in the Danhausen/John Cena segment, a brief discussion with Michael Cole, and Oba Femi practicing his entrance. Finally, the video ends with Triple H, his work done, being given a ride to the back in a golf cart.

Despite drawing over 70K views on YouTube, the video has been overshadowed by the responses to it on social media offering support for Kairi Sane. This continues the backlash WWE has received for releasing Sane, along with several others, last Friday, with fans even cheering for the former WWE star on “Raw” Monday night.

Nikkita Lyons Responds to Criticism Over Her Transformation

Nikkita Lyons has responded to ongoing criticism about her transformation, directly calling out fans who have asked for her “old” version to return.

After dealing with multiple knee injuries, Lyons rebuilt her in-ring career and physical condition, including a reset run in WWE EVOLVE. That process has helped her regain momentum, but it has also come with continued online feedback about her appearance and persona.

On April 29, 2026, Lyons addressed the situation on social media, pushing back against what she described as inconsistent reactions from fans.

“i MiSs ThE oLd nIkKiTa LyOnS” 😂 like… y’all were complaining back then too 🙄 not that i need to explain, but that was post injury with a sh✨tty bf at the time nikkita lmao but we’re not even in that timeline anymore, WE’RE HEALED 🍃 KEEP UP #NikkitaMultiMedia #DivineFeline lioness pre-wwe mind you👇🦁 BEEN THE LYONESS BABE 🎶🔮🍃”

Her message highlighted the challenges she faced during that earlier period, including injury recovery and personal issues. Lyons made it clear that those circumstances shaped that version of her, and that she has since moved forward.

She also emphasized that she is now in a different place, both physically and mentally, and does not feel the need to explain or revisit the past.

Lyons’ recent performances reflect that shift. She recently competed against Lizzy Rain, delivering a strong showing while helping introduce new talent. The match served as another step in her ongoing rebuild.

Her response shows that she is focused on her current direction and is not looking to return to a previous version of herself. Instead, Lyons appears committed to continuing her progress and defining her career on her own terms.

WWE Reportedly Hasn’t Decided On EVIL’s New Name Despite Recent Trademark Filing

It was a night of many happenings in “WWE NXT” on Tuesday, including the return of Tavion Heights to attack NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, and the debut of UK wrestler Will Kroos, who also laid out D’Angelo with a moonsault. But both were preceded by the “NXT” debut of former New Japan star EVIL, with the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion confronting D’Angelo before presenting him with a shirt.

Throughout this interaction, EVIL was never referred to by any name from commentators Vic Joseph and Booker T, leading many to speculate on what his new persona would be. A hint was seemingly provided one day later, when it was revealed that WWE had trademarked the name “Nox Raijin” on Tuesday. Many quickly assumed this would be EVIL’s WWE name, as Raijin is the name of a god in Japanese mythology.

Taking to X on Wednesday morning, however, TC of WrestleVotes seemed to contradict the trademark news, indicating that WWE had yet to decide on a new name for EVIL. As a result, “Nox Raijin” may be among the names being considered for EVIL’s new persona, or could be the name for another potential WWE debut in the coming weeks. In February, Dave Meltzer speculated that EVIL’s former stablemate Hiromu Takahashi could also have WWE interest, though no word has emerged since on whether Takahashi has received an offer from WWE.

Whatever EVIL’s new name in WWE will be will likely be revealed on next week’s “NXT” episode, though his interaction with D’Angelo at least makes it clear that he will be coming for D’Angelo’s NXT Championship alongside Heights and Kroos. No “NXT” PLE has been announced for May or June at this time, potentially meaning an EVIL vs. D’Angelo title match could take place on TV instead.
