More Wyatt Sicks Members Gone From WWE As Post-WrestleMania Departures Continue

More names of WWE departures continue to roll in after it was reported Friday afternoon that cuts were coming following WWE WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas this weekend. It was initially reported Zoey Stark, Alba Fyre, and Nikki Cross were all leaving the company, and now, it seems all of Cross’ Wyatt Sicks stablemates are also departing.

According to PWInsider, Bo Dallas, also known as Uncle Howdy, the leader of the Wyatt Sicks, is among those names that have been cut, though it’s not confirmed who, if anyone, has been released, or who has contracts expiring that will not be renewed.

Joe Gacy is also among those leaving, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) as he continued to share the unfortunate news of names coming in. Gacy himself seemed to confirm his departure as he posted on his own X account, simply saying “lol” accompanied by a peace sign emoji.

About an hour or so later, it was revealed by Bodyslam on X that Dexter Lumis and Erick Rowan will also be departing WWE, something Lumis seemed to confirm via a screenshot of a former angle of his on “WWE NXT,” featuring an ax.

The Wyatt Sicks stable debuted after months of teases involving QR codes, following Bray Wyatt’s passing, in June 2024. Gacy and Lumix held the WWE Tag Team Championships once, from July 2025 through January.

Giulia To Defend Women’s US Title Against Tiffany Stratton On Tonight’s WWE SmackDown

After failing to make the WWE WrestleMania 42 card, at no fault of her own, Women’s United States Champion Giulia will defend her title on Friday’s edition of “WWE SmackDown.” Giulia is set to face off against former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, after Stratton won a number one contender’s match against Jordynne Grace on the April 17 episode of the blue brand.

The match was previously advertised for last week’s show, the go-home episode to WrestleMania. Despite both “SmackDown” and “WWE Raw” usually featuring title matches that don’t make it on to the WrestleMania card every year, there was no word as to why the Women’s US title match was pulled from the three hour show.

Giulia’s most recent match was a victory over Stratton on the March 27 edition of “SmackDown” live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The champion was reportedly “banged up” following the match, which included a spot where Stratton hit the Swanton Bomb and landed awkwardly with all her weight seemingly on Giulia’s stomach. The pair were previously rumored to fight for the gold on “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” but Stratton alluded to the match not being officially set in stone during an interview at the end of March.

Lucha Underground Hints At Return With Social Media Teaser

“Lucha Underground” has posted a teaser trailer to its social media account, its first activity in seven years, prompting much speculation as to the promotion’s return.

“Lucha Underground” ran for four seasons on the El Rey Network from 2014 to 2017, but had amassed budget concerns by the release of the fourth season and never returned for another. Its stars, ranging from the likes of Ricochet, Rey Mysterio, JC Mateo, Johnny Mundo, Fenix, and Penta, have since moved on and the promotion had long been considered as left in the past.

That was until the official X account posted a teaser trailer seemingly promising the show’s return, or an adjacent project, with the caption “Soon…”

The account had not posted anything since 2019, but the El Rey Network has been re-uploading content from “Lucha Underground’s” previous seasons. As noted by X account Luchablog, some comments had called for the library to be made public, and the account responded to say they were working on getting the library on YouTube.

Speculation has arisen over WWE’s acquisition of AAA and whether, due to the association between AAA talent and “Lucha Underground” when it ran, that meant this could be a WWE-revived project. However, AAA only loaned talent, wrestling expertise, and trademarks to “Lucha Underground,” and had no ownership.

A trademark for “Lucha Underground” was filed for by “Lucha Underground LLC” in January 2025 and went live earlier this year. The filing indicates no named holder of the filing, but an address is listed. Property records link the address to members of the Fogelman family. John Fogelman left William Morris Endeavor in 2011 to found FactoryMade Ventures, the entity which would later collaborate with Robert Rodriguez to found El Rey Network. Also linked to the address is Max Fogelman, a former Associate Producer with the El Rey Network having previously worked as Media Manager for “Lucha Underground.”

CM Punk Reportedly Faced No Disciplinary Action From WWE After Fan Confrontation

The lack of security for WWE stars during WWE WrestleMania 42 weekend and the issues the talent faced with fans waiting for them at their hotels, specifically, was widely reported following the conclusion of the event in Las Vegas. One star who took matters more into his own hands was former World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, who was caught on video knocking a person’s phone out of their hand as they got too close to Punk’s wife, AJ Lee, and Bayley.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Punk will face no internal disciplinary action for the altercation. The video, uploaded by TMZ Sports, shows security, as well as Punk’s friend and mentor, Ace Steel, stepping in to diffuse the situation after Punk knocked the phone away. The fan was filming a hug between Lee and Bayley in the hotel lobby after night two of WrestleMania.

“The Voice of the Voiceless” has not commented on the situation, but the fan spoke with TMZ and said he wanted the former champion to apologize to him, though explained he wasn’t looking to press charges. In the video, he can be heard apologizing to the “Second City Saint,” who only replied, “No, you’re not.”

Since his return to WWE in November 2023 at Survivor Series, Punk has not been involved in any reported backstage issues. Two months before his return, he was fired from AEW after he was involved in a second altercation in a year. He was let go from Tony Khan’s company in the aftermath of an backstage altercation with Jack Perry at All In London at Wembley Stadium.

Dave Meltzer: We Were Told To Treat Brock Lesnar’s WWE Retirement As An Angle

After the bell rung for his WrestleMania 42 match, Brock Lesnar surprised the wrestling industry by taking his gloves off and unlacing his boots in the middle of the ring, signifying his retirement. The moment was so shocking that few fans believe it, and according to Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, fans might be better of taking the moment with a grain of salt.

Meltzer had previously reported the internal belief that Lesnar isn’t actually retired. In the Observer report, Meltzer further claimed that the Observer was “outright told to treat it as an angle” from sources that included the person who warned them last year’s Seth Rollins injury was an angle. The report reiterated the backstage belief that Lesnar will retire at SummerSlam 2026, which takes place in Minneapolis, the city Lesnar is billed from. Lesnar himself had previously said that he was only back in WWE “for a short time.”

Meltzer’s report went on to point out that while Lesnar’s performance was convincing, as was Paul Heyman’s on the subsequent episode of “WWE Raw,” that doesn’t mean Lesnar is actually retired. Meltzer claimed Lesnar’s performance was “no more convincing or emotional that Mark Henry was for his fake retirement angle, nor even in the league of the performance by Terry Funk in his 1983 first retirement angle.”
