John Cena And Danhausen Turn WrestleMania 42 Into Total Chaos As The Miz Melts Down

A segment that felt like it wandered in from another universe gave the crowd a dose of chaos and comedy, all rolled into one.

John Cena kicked things off by revealing the night’s attendance at 55,000, just shy of last year’s second night figure. With his hosting duties wrapped up, he began to thank the crowd for their energy across the weekend. That moment didn’t last long, as The Miz stormed out alongside Kit Wilson, clearly in no mood for celebrations.

The Miz vented his frustrations, complaining that he once again missed out on a true WrestleMania moment and insisting he deserved better. Cena, playing along, casually introduced himself to Wilson as if he had no idea who he was, before asking Miz if he was really out here begging for a spotlight. Miz doubled down, saying that was exactly what he wanted.

That was the cue for things to take a bizarre turn.

Danhausen made his long awaited WrestleMania debut in unforgettable fashion, arriving in a miniature coffin car and flanked by a group of equally eccentric companions. Fully embracing the absurdity, he introduced himself with his signature “very nice, very evil” greeting and declared he had finally arrived at what he dubbed “WrestleHausen.”

He approached Cena, praised him, and shook his hand, much to the annoyance of The Miz, who accused Danhausen of turning the biggest show of the year into a circus. Things escalated quickly when Wilson tried to get involved, only to be met with instant payback as one of Danhausen’s crew delivered a low blow that dropped him on the spot.

What followed was pure mayhem. Danhausen called for a pile on, and Wilson was quickly overwhelmed. Back in the ring, Miz wasn’t faring any better, as Danhausen caught him with a low blow of his own. Cena, clearly enjoying every second, stepped aside and even encouraged the madness, bowing as Danhausen delivered a Five Knuckle Shuffle with his own twisted flair.

The entire scene descended into hilarious chaos, giving the crowd a completely unhinged moment before the night’s main event.

Rhea Ripley Captures WWE Women’s Championship At WrestleMania 42

Rhea Ripley captured the WWE Women’s Heavyweight Championship in dramatic fashion at WrestleMania, defeating Jade Cargill in a hard fought clash that marked their first ever one on one encounter.

Cargill made her entrance first as the defending champion, with anticipation building for a blockbuster showdown. Ripley followed to a thunderous reaction from the Las Vegas crowd, arriving in all white and carrying the confidence of a seasoned WrestleMania competitor. Competing on the grand stage for the seventh time, Ripley entered with her sights set on reclaiming a world title she had not held in over a year.

The match began with a physical test of strength, as both competitors looked to impose their will early. Cargill struck first with a powerful shoulder tackle that sent Ripley crashing to the mat. She maintained the early advantage with a dominant display, but Ripley quickly shifted momentum by avoiding a clothesline and unleashing a burst of offense that forced the champion to regroup on the outside.

Back in the ring, Cargill regained control with a thunderous powerslam and a near fall. She slowed the pace, grounding Ripley and wearing her down with a chin wrench while asserting control both inside and outside the ring. Ripley eventually powered free and attempted to hoist the champion, but Cargill slipped out of danger. Ripley responded with a sharp kick to the head, opening the door for a flurry of strikes that saw both women battle for control. Ripley gained the upper hand momentarily with a big boot and a close two count.

Momentum continued to swing as Cargill halted Ripley’s surge with a massive spinebuster. She looked poised to finish the match, but Ripley countered into a pin attempt before escaping a powerbomb and connecting with a running kick to the face.

The bout took a chaotic turn when outside interference came into play. Michin appeared on the apron, distracting the referee, allowing B Fab to get involved. Cargill capitalised by sending Ripley shoulder first into the ring post. With the official unaware, she delivered a devastating Sandstorm from an electric chair position, but Ripley somehow kicked out, keeping her hopes alive.

Cargill attempted to press the advantage by throwing Ripley to the outside and calling for further assistance, but Iyo Sky sprinted to the ring to even the odds. Iyo took out both Michin and B Fab before launching a springboard moonsault from the apron, neutralising the interference and restoring order.

With the distractions removed, Ripley seized the moment. She drove a headbutt into Cargill and went for the Riptide, only for the champion to briefly escape. Cargill fired back with a big boot, but Ripley countered once more, slipped underneath, and finally connected with the Riptide. She secured the three count, bringing an end to the battle.

Ripley stood tall as the new WWE Women’s Heavyweight Champion, adding another defining WrestleMania moment to her career with a statement victory over Jade Cargill.

Finn Balor Defeats Dominik Mysterio In Brutal Street Fight At WrestleMania 42

Finn Balor emerged victorious in a brutal street fight clash against Dominik Mysterio, closing out a chaotic encounter that saw both men push the limits with weapons and high impact offense.

The bout immediately stood out thanks to its dramatic entrances. Mysterio made his way to the ring seated on a throne, flanked by a group of white masked luchadors who created an imposing visual. Moments later, the mood shifted entirely as Balor arrived in his Demon persona, dragging red and black ribbons behind him while wielding a sinister staff, signalling that this would be a no rules environment.

Once the match got underway, Mysterio hesitated briefly before engaging, but Balor wasted no time asserting control. The Demon unleashed a barrage of clotheslines and chops, quickly targeting the leg and stomping down with intensity. The action spilled to the outside where Balor introduced a kendo stick, striking Mysterio repeatedly before attempting to set up a table. Mysterio fought back with a flying crossbody from the ring, swinging momentum in his favour as he took control of the weapon.

Back inside the ring, Mysterio slowed the pace and brought steel chairs into play, stomping Balor down before setting up a pair of chairs for a potential tribute moment. However, Balor countered and drove Mysterio onto the chairs instead. Despite the setback, Mysterio rallied with a sharp 619 followed by a Frog Splash, though Balor kicked out immediately to keep the match alive.

The back and forth continued as Mysterio missed with a wild chair shot, allowing Balor to respond with multiple Shotgun Dropkicks. Balor attempted the Coup de Grace but was avoided, with Mysterio landing a chair shot that nearly secured the win. He then introduced another table into the corner, escalating the violence further.

Balor soon regained control with a Sling Blade, halting Mysterio’s momentum. Mysterio answered back with a Superkick and drove Balor through the corner table, following up with yet another 619 and Frog Splash combination. Even then, Balor refused to stay down, kicking out once more and leaving Mysterio visibly frustrated.

That frustration boiled over as Mysterio repeatedly struck Balor with a steel chair and set up yet another table, drawing negative reactions from the crowd. In a sudden shift, Balor exploded back into the match with a clothesline before wedging a chair around Mysterio’s neck and launching him into the turnbuckles with a devastating Shotgun Dropkick.

With the advantage firmly in his hands, Balor placed Mysterio on a table and climbed to the top rope. The Demon delivered a crushing Coup de Grace through the table, sealing the victory in emphatic fashion.

Finn Balor stood tall at the end of the encounter, using his Demon persona to overcome his former Judgment Day ally in a hard hitting and weapon filled battle.

Demon Finn Balor Defeats Dominik Mysterio In WWE WrestleMania 42 Street Fight

Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor have gone from Judgment Day allies, to bitter enemies, to a man and the demon that haunts him. At WWE WrestleMania 42 Sunday, Mysterio attempted to exorcise his old friend in a Street Fight, but “The Demon’s” spirit lingers in Las Vegas, after Balor walked away with a decisive victory.

Fear flooded Mysterio’s senses as he avoided Balor during his entrance, and his terror was completely justified. Balor began wailing on Mysterio immediately, turning him inside out with clotheslines, pelting him with kendo stick shots, and nearly putting him through a table before a Suicide Dive from Mysterio evened out the playing field.

Mysterio managed to establish a slight lead over “The Demon” with a collection of chairs, but Balor sent Mysterio face-first through the steel before leveling him with a Slingblade. Mysterio attempted to fight back with a 619 and Frog Splash combo, only for his opponent to kick out at one. A missed Coup de Grace opened the door for Mysterio, but even a steel chair to the face couldn’t keep “The Demon” down for more than two.

Mysterio’s Hail Mary came in the form of steel chair-aided 619 and Frog Splash combo, but Balor refused to yield. As an exasperated Mysterio began setting up a chair, Balor, with supernatural confidence, rose to his feet, and cracked a steel chair over Mysterio’s back. Balor closed another chair around Mysterio’s neck for a vicious Corner Dropkick, and earned an undeniable victory following a Coup de Grace through a table.

Dominik Mysterio excommunicated Balor from The Judgment Day on the March 9 episode of “WWE Raw,” after years of infighting, miscommunication, and distrust within the group. With Mysterio now put away, Balor’s — and “The Demon’s” — intended plans for a post-Judgment Day era of his career are anybody’s guess.

Trick Williams Beats Sami Zayn, Wins WWE Men’s United States Title At WrestleMania 42

At WWE WrestleMania 42, former NXT Champion Trick Williams got his first-ever ‘Mania moment during night two when he defeated Sami Zayn for the United States Championship. With rapper Lil Yachty by his side, Williams officially sent WWE into the “Whoop That” era.

When the bell rang, Williams immediately went on the offensive against Zayn, but the champion quickly took him down. Zayn hit the Blue Thunder Bomb early after avoiding the Trick Shot, but it was too early to keep Williams’ shoulders to the mat.

Williams rolled to the ropes, where Yachty met him to give him a pep talk, but Zayn got out of the ring and took the rapper out before bouncing him off the barricade. He directed his attention back to his challenger and drove Williams into the ring post before hitting a Brainbuster on the ring apron.

Zayn hit a big boot to Williams on the outside as Williams tried to steady himself on the ring barricade, then Zayn rolled back in the ring, looking for the count out victory. Williams barely beat the 10-count. Zayn looked for the Helluva Kick, but Yachty hung him on the top rope. Williams hit a cyclone kick, but Zayn kicked out.

Zayn almost had the match won with a rollup, then hit an exploder into the corner. In the end, it was Williams who hit the Trick Shot for the victory. He celebrated with Yachty, then his family at ringside, as Zayn looked on, despondent, from the floor.
