Jacob Fatu Picks Up Dominant Win Over Drew McIntyre At WWE WrestleMania 42

While WWE might have waived all responsibility for the carnage held during Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre’s Unsanctioned Match, both Fatu and McIntyre will walk out of Allegiant Stadium battered and bruised nonetheless. Only one man, however, will be proud of the story behind his scars, as Fatu pinned McIntyre on WrestleMania 42 Saturday to continue his undefeated streak at “The Showcase of the Immortals.”

Three ropes were not enough to contain “The Samoan Werewolf,” who soared to the outside to flatten McIntyre before the bell had even rung. Fatu brought out a litany of weapons thereafter, from tables to steel chairs to toolboxes. Fatu’s violent greed, however, was his undoing, as McIntyre took advantage of Fatu’s set-up to brutalize him.

After a trip into the ring’s steel foundation, a selfie-style vlog, and an attempted assault with a wrench, McIntyre and Fatu made their way back into the ring. A bloodbath ensued: Fatu caught McIntyre with a Pop-Up Samoan Drop, McIntyre kicked out of Fatu’s Mighty Moonsault, and Fatu left welts on the Scotsman’s back with referee Dan Engler’s belt — all for both men to kick out at two, every single time.

Things seemed to be over when McIntyre pushed a top-rope-bound Fatu to the outside and through a table. Fatu, however, bested the odds, and recovered to send a bright red toolbox into McIntyre’s temple. McIntyre stumbled back onto a set-up table, and both man and wood laid broken on the canvas as Fatu landed another Mighty Moonsault for the victory. As Fatu celebrated with the enthusiastic Allegiant Stadium crowd, McIntyre wheezed on the floor.

Fatu and McIntyre’s animosities began when Fatu interfered in McIntyre’s Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes on the March 6 episode of “WWE SmackDown,” which resulted in McIntyre’s reign being cut short.

Jacob Fatu Triumphs Over Drew McIntyre in Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42 Saturday

Jacob Fatu gained long-awaited revenge over Drew McIntyre on WrestleMania 42 Saturday, defeating The Scottish Warrior in a brutal Unsanctioned Match that became one of the most violent and memorable battles of the night.

After weeks of punishment and repeated attacks at the hands of McIntyre, Fatu entered WrestleMania with clear purpose and wasted no time unleashing his fury. Before Drew could even complete his entrance, The Samoan Werewolf stormed the aisle and launched himself into action with a crushing suicide dive, sending McIntyre sprawling and igniting the crowd instantly.

From that point forward, the match descended into chaos.

Because the bout was unsanctioned, there were effectively no limits on the punishment either man could inflict. Tables, steel chairs, wrenches, and the referee’s own belt all became weapons during the fight. Most symbolic of all was the reappearance of the steel toolbox, an object deeply tied to McIntyre’s past and remembered as the weapon that contributed to his devastating Hell in a Cell loss to CM Punk in 2024.

The toolbox became a central piece of the match’s violence, with both men threatening to use it and eventually turning it into the deciding weapon of the contest.

Despite the carnage, McIntyre still found time for one of his trademark WrestleMania moments. In the middle of the fight, Drew grabbed his phone from his brother at ringside, struck Fatu with it, and then recorded video footage before posting it to social media, adding arrogance and showmanship to the already chaotic scene.

The brutality intensified as the match progressed. At one point, McIntyre ordered the referee to remove his belt so he could once again whip Fatu, seemingly hoping to humiliate his rival the same way he had in recent weeks. But this time the plan backfired.

Fatu countered, seized the belt for himself, and lashed McIntyre repeatedly, turning the tables in dramatic fashion as the crowd roared in approval.

The two heavyweights continued trading punishment in a physically punishing war that saw momentum swing repeatedly. In one dramatic sequence late in the match, McIntyre shoved Fatu off the top turnbuckle, causing the Samoan star to crash through a table that he had set up earlier. It appeared the fall might finally end Fatu’s night.

Instead, it only enraged him.

Fatu recovered and exploded back into the fight with a thunderous superkick that stunned McIntyre. He then grabbed the steel toolbox and blasted Drew in the face, leaving The Scottish Warrior defenseless in the center of the ring.

With his opponent laid out, Fatu climbed to the top rope and delivered his devastating moonsault, crashing down onto McIntyre before hooking the leg for the decisive pinfall.

The victory marked a major statement win for Jacob Fatu, who not only avenged weeks of abuse but also proved he could survive and thrive in one of WrestleMania’s most savage environments. For McIntyre, the loss was a crushing setback in a match where his own history, and the same toolbox that once haunted him, again played a decisive role.

LA Knight & The Usos Def. The Vision & iShowSpeed at WrestleMania 42 Saturday

WrestleMania 42 Saturday kicked off with an energetic celebrity-filled six-man tag team contest as The Usos and LA Knight defeated Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and internet sensation iShowSpeed in the opening match of the night.

The fast-paced bout blended comedy, chaos, and star power, but in the end it was miscommunication within The Vision that cost Logan Paul’s team a major WrestleMania victory.

Throughout the contest, Logan Paul and Austin Theory relied on frequent tags and heel tactics to control the tempo, while using iShowSpeed strategically in short bursts. However, as the match wore on, it became clear that Speed’s lack of in-ring experience was becoming a liability for his partners.

The decisive sequence came when Speed attempted to assist his team during a key moment but instead accidentally shoved LA Knight into Logan Paul, knocking himself off the apron in the process. The mistake immediately caused visible frustration from both Paul and Theory, with Theory especially furious over the blown opportunity.

Determined to regain control, Theory grabbed Knight and demanded Speed execute the next planned attack. But the confusion only worsened. As Speed charged forward, Knight reacted quickly and shoved Theory directly into the social media star, sending both members of The Vision crashing into one another.

With Theory stunned, Knight wasted no time delivering his trademark BFT. He then covered Theory for the three-count, securing the victory for his side and sending the WrestleMania crowd into a frenzy.

Winners: The Usos & LA Knight

While the match was over, the drama escalated immediately afterward.

A visibly enraged Logan Paul turned on iShowSpeed, blaming the streamer for the loss. Paul confronted Speed in the ring before blasting him with a massive right hand that dropped him instantly. The former United States Champion then dragged Speed toward the announce area and laid him across the commentary table, preparing to punish him further.

Before Paul could continue the assault, The Usos rushed in to make the save. Jimmy and Jey quickly neutralized Logan with their signature 1D finisher, leaving him sprawled across the announce desk.

LA Knight then stepped in, helping position Paul on the table while encouraging the shaken Speed to take advantage of the moment. After some hesitation, Speed climbed up high as the audience roared in anticipation.

The streamer finally launched himself off the top rope and connected with a Frog Splash through the announce table onto Logan Paul, delivering one of the loudest crowd reactions of the early show.

The segment closed with iShowSpeed recovering inside the ring and celebrating alongside The Usos and LA Knight, standing tall after a disastrous start to his WrestleMania debut turned into a memorable redemption moment.

LA Knight & Usos Unite With IShowSpeed After Win Over Vision At WWE WrestleMania 42

LA Knight and the Usos, Jimmy and Jey, got the win over the trio of IShowSpeed, Logan Paul and Austin Theory to open WWE WrestleMania 42 on Saturday. After which, Speed got a little redemption and closure on his issues with the opponents.

Speed tagged in for the first time and was being coached by Paul and Theory on the apron on how to maneuver Jimmy into a suplex. He got dropped by Jimmy instead, tagging back out to Paul and letting him try to regain the advantage.

Jey tagged in and hit the spear onto Theory who had himself tagged in for Paul, going for the cover which was only broken by Paul. Speed managed a hurricanrana, almost got BFT’d but pushed Knight into Paul on the apron, sending him crashing into the announcer’s desk. Theory and Speed argued in the ring afterward, and Knight pushed Theory into Speed, hit the BFT and got the winning pinfall.

Paul then berated Speed for “ruining” his WrestleMania moment, dropping him with a right before taking him to the outside of the ring and setting him up on the announcer’s desk. He went to the top rope looking to put Speed through the table, but the Usos and Knight returned to the ring to deliver 1-D and save the streamer.

Knight threw Speed into the ring with the Usos, who then encouraged him to climb the ropes as Knight held Paul on the announcer’s table. He stood atop the ring post, hit signature “Siiii!” pose inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo, and proceeded to fly onto Paul and send him through the table.

Speed then celebrated with the Usos and Knight in the ring as Jey run his entrance theme back to “YEET” with the crowd.
