A past disagreement between CM Punk and Kevin Nash now appears to be resolved.

The two were seen sharing a friendly moment backstage at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday night. In video that surfaced online, Nash approached Punk to start the interaction. They shook hands, embraced, and spoke briefly. Punk was visibly smiling and laughing during the exchange, signaling a clear change in tone.

The interaction stands in contrast to the tension that had built between them in recent months.

In late December, Nash criticized Punk’s performance on the December 22 episode of WWE RAW. He specifically pointed out that Punk wrestled wearing a shirt during the match, which drew attention and sparked discussion.

Punk later responded in his own way. During a WWE live event, he appeared wearing two shirts, which many saw as a direct reference to Nash’s comments. The situation continued as both men addressed each other in interviews and public appearances, keeping the issue in the spotlight.

Now, the latest backstage moment suggests that the situation has cooled. While neither man has made a formal statement, their interaction at the Hall of Fame event indicates that the issue is no longer active.

The timing is notable, as Punk is set to headline WrestleMania 42. He will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns in the main event at Allegiant Stadium.

With WrestleMania 42 taking place on April 18 and April 19, the focus now shifts back to the ring. The brief but positive exchange between Punk and Nash suggests that their past issues are no longer a factor heading into the major event.

Nikki Bella insists she will compete at WrestleMania 42, even as reports suggest a different outcome behind the scenes.

Nikki and Brie Bella spoke with Big E during the red carpet coverage ahead of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. During the interview, Nikki addressed her condition and confirmed she still plans to be part of the four-way Women’s Tag Team Championship match.

“I’m feeling great, just getting that extra rest in so I can be ready for tomorrow. Ready to win those tag titles,” Nikki said when asked how she was doing.

Big E then pointed out that Nikki was wearing a walking boot and directly questioned whether she would still compete. Nikki did not hesitate with her response.

“Oh yeah. I’m there. I’m here, I would never leave Brie’s side ever. I’m still in it, I’m still there tomorrow and we’re going to win those tag titles.”

Brie backed that statement with confidence.

“The Bella Twins are unstoppable, we are used to obstacles, and we overcome everything.”

The situation, however, may not be as clear as Nikki presented it. According to PWInsider, Nikki Bella is not expected to be medically cleared in time for WrestleMania 42. The report adds that WWE has already prepared a replacement.

That same report states that Saraya, known to WWE fans as Paige, has signed to return and is set to take Nikki’s place in the match.

This creates a contrast between Nikki’s public comments and the reported backstage plans. As of now, WWE has not officially confirmed any changes to the match lineup.

The Nikki Bella WrestleMania 42 status remains uncertain heading into the event. On one side, Nikki is publicly committed to competing alongside her sister. On the other, reports indicate that a late change could already be in motion.

With WrestleMania 42 approaching, the final decision may come down to medical clearance. Until then, the Nikki Bella WrestleMania 42 status continues to draw attention as fans wait to see who will actually step into the ring.
