CM Punk and Kevin Nash Reconcile at WWE Hall of Fame

A past disagreement between CM Punk and Kevin Nash now appears to be resolved.

The two were seen sharing a friendly moment backstage at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday night. In video that surfaced online, Nash approached Punk to start the interaction. They shook hands, embraced, and spoke briefly. Punk was visibly smiling and laughing during the exchange, signaling a clear change in tone.

The interaction stands in contrast to the tension that had built between them in recent months.

In late December, Nash criticized Punk’s performance on the December 22 episode of WWE RAW. He specifically pointed out that Punk wrestled wearing a shirt during the match, which drew attention and sparked discussion.

Punk later responded in his own way. During a WWE live event, he appeared wearing two shirts, which many saw as a direct reference to Nash’s comments. The situation continued as both men addressed each other in interviews and public appearances, keeping the issue in the spotlight.

Now, the latest backstage moment suggests that the situation has cooled. While neither man has made a formal statement, their interaction at the Hall of Fame event indicates that the issue is no longer active.

The timing is notable, as Punk is set to headline WrestleMania 42. He will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns in the main event at Allegiant Stadium.

With WrestleMania 42 taking place on April 18 and April 19, the focus now shifts back to the ring. The brief but positive exchange between Punk and Nash suggests that their past issues are no longer a factor heading into the major event.

Nikki Bella Says She is Still Set for WrestleMania 42 Match Despite Injury

Nikki Bella Says She is Still Set for WrestleMania 42 Match Despite Injury

Nikki Bella insists she will compete at WrestleMania 42, even as reports suggest a different outcome behind the scenes.

Nikki and Brie Bella spoke with Big E during the red carpet coverage ahead of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. During the interview, Nikki addressed her condition and confirmed she still plans to be part of the four-way Women’s Tag Team Championship match.

“I’m feeling great, just getting that extra rest in so I can be ready for tomorrow. Ready to win those tag titles,” Nikki said when asked how she was doing.

Big E then pointed out that Nikki was wearing a walking boot and directly questioned whether she would still compete. Nikki did not hesitate with her response.

“Oh yeah. I’m there. I’m here, I would never leave Brie’s side ever. I’m still in it, I’m still there tomorrow and we’re going to win those tag titles.”

Brie backed that statement with confidence.

“The Bella Twins are unstoppable, we are used to obstacles, and we overcome everything.”

The situation, however, may not be as clear as Nikki presented it. According to PWInsider, Nikki Bella is not expected to be medically cleared in time for WrestleMania 42. The report adds that WWE has already prepared a replacement.

That same report states that Saraya, known to WWE fans as Paige, has signed to return and is set to take Nikki’s place in the match.

This creates a contrast between Nikki’s public comments and the reported backstage plans. As of now, WWE has not officially confirmed any changes to the match lineup.

The Nikki Bella WrestleMania 42 status remains uncertain heading into the event. On one side, Nikki is publicly committed to competing alongside her sister. On the other, reports indicate that a late change could already be in motion.

With WrestleMania 42 approaching, the final decision may come down to medical clearance. Until then, the Nikki Bella WrestleMania 42 status continues to draw attention as fans wait to see who will actually step into the ring.

Chelsea Green Doesn’t Know If She’ll Ever Feel ‘Secure’ In WWE

Former two-time Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green has had quite the ride in her professional wrestling career, especially when it comes to WWE. From sporadic appearances in the company back in 2014 as an extra, to competing on “Tough Enough,” to her 2021 release following her main roster debut on “WWE SmackDown,” Green has been through a lot, and only came out a bigger and better star for it. She recently spoke with Esteban Ramirez about her journey, and said that despite how good things are for her now, she’ll never quite let her guard down.

“I’m always working to make sure I’m leveling up,” Green said. “That my jokes are funnier, that my outfits are better. That I’m not becoming complacent at the workplace… I’ve been released from WWE so many times and this journey has been so bumpy, so I don’t know that I’ll just feel secure and feel like I’m impenetrable. It’s show business. No one is untouchable.”

Despite remaining apprehensive, Green is beyond proud of her accomplishments with the Women’s US title. She became the first-ever woman to hold the gold when she won the championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December 2024. She said the fact that WWE thought she was a good candidate to carry the belt and represent the company was amazing, and she worked hard to be the best champion she could be.

“Whether they wanted to give it to me or were forced to give it to me, I did everything I could to make sure that title was worthy of all the eyes that were put on it,” she said.

Renee Paquette Names Her Favorite And Least Favorite AEW Personalities

There is no such thing as a 100% person anywhere, but in pro wrestling, AEW’s Renee Paquette may be the closest, seemingly liked by almost everyone. But who does Paquette like the most in wrestling, aside from her husband, AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley? On “Who is..?,” Paquette answered that question, having to think about it briefly before settling on one of AEW’s most beloved stars, and one of her favorite wrestlers to interview.

“I’ve got to go with Eddie Kingston,” Paquette said. “I love Eddie. I don’t care which version of Eddie I get that day, whether its good news Eddie, it’s bad news Eddie, I find him entertaining. And he’s just a real person. He gives you all sides of him at all times. So I’ve got to go Eddie.”

In terms of her least favorite AEW personality, Paquette had no hesitation, citing frequent broadcasting partner, AEW creative team member, and former host of “HEY! [EW], RJ City.

“RJ City can eat s**t,” Paquette said. “Yeah, RJ’s a pain in my ass. I’ve never met a more neurotic person in my entire life. And it’s great in the sense that he keeps everybody on their toes and he makes things come together and happen. But brother, take a [minute]. You don’t have to text me this s**t at 7 o’clock in the morning. We’re going to get to it. Yes I have a challenge, yes I get up early. But you’ve got to give a little window! It’s insane to wake up with these texts and things, files I need open and things I need to look at. Like, give us all a minute. F**k off RJ!”

WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 1 Full & Final Card

For the second year in a row, WWE WrestleMania will emanate from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unlike WWE’s first trip, though, both nights of WrestleMania 42 have championship matches positioned in the main event slot.

Night one, taking place on April 18, will close with an Undisputed WWE Championship bout pitting Cody Rhodes against his former mentor, Randy Orton. Rhodes regained the title by defeating Drew McIntyre on the March 6 edition of “WWE SmackDown.” Meanwhile, Orton secured an opportunity to potentially claim his 15th world title by winning the 2026 Men’s Elimination Chamber. Of course, Orton and Rhodes aren’t the only figures in this story as singer Jelly Roll and broadcaster Pat McAfee have involved themselves in it as well. McAfee specifically promised that if Orton lost on WWE’s grandest platform, fans would never see or hear him in the wrestling world ever again. The question of whether that will play a part in the outcomes of Orton vs. Rhodes will be answered soon.

Three more title bouts will grace the stage on night one, all of which revolve around the WWE women’s division. WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will defend her respective title against the Women’s Royal Rumble winner, Liv Morgan. Elsewhere, “The Man” Becky Lynch seeks retribution as she challenges AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Should Lynch win, it would mark her first ever victory over Lee and the beginning of her third IC Title reign. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Lash Legend and Nia Jax will have the tallest task of the evening when they raise up their titles against three other pairs: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, and The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella).

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champions GUNTHER and Seth Rollins will also be in action when they meet one-on-one, with the former looking to “expose” the latter as subpar to him.

For fans based in the United States, ESPN2 will serve as the host for WrestleMania 42’s first hour of action. Within that hour, streamer IShowSpeed will mark his big stage in-ring debut in a tag bout alongside The Vision’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory. Together, they’ll face LA Knight and former WWE World Tag Team Champions The Usos. Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre will take their own rivalry to new heights as they collide in an Unsanctioned Match.
