Mercedes Mone Teases Imminent AEW Return After Global Tour

Mercedes Mone Teases Imminent AEW Return After Global Tour

Mercedes Moné has strongly hinted her AEW return is right around the corner, revealing it will come once her current international run wraps up.

Speaking on IL61, Moné made it clear she is not far from stepping back into AEW.

“I’m returning really, really soon,” she said. “Right now, I am on my Mone Madness Tour all over Europe. First it started in Mexico, now here in Italy, next stop is Paris, then London, then Poland, then Winnipeg. After that, Mama is gonna return home.”

Her schedule gives a clear clue as to when that comeback could happen. Moné is set to defend the WPW Women’s Championship in Winnipeg on March 31. AEW Dynamite is scheduled to hit the same city the very next night on April 1, making that show the most likely moment for her return.

Moné has been absent from AEW television since dropping the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at New Year’s Smash. She briefly resurfaced in a Collision vignette on January 10, warning that her comeback would be about more than just reclaiming gold.

Since then, she has stayed active across Mexico and Europe as part of her “Mone Madness Tour,” stacking up titles across multiple promotions. She currently holds six championships worldwide, including titles in Scotland, Poland, Denmark, Canada, Malaysia, and the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Championship.

AEW has yet to officially confirm her return, but all signs now point to it happening very soon.

Dennis Rodman Set For WWE Hall Of Fame Induction In 2026

Dennis Rodman is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, with the news first reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania. He joins a lineup that already includes AJ Styles, Demolition, and Stephanie McMahon, with the ceremony scheduled during WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rodman’s ties to professional wrestling go back to the height of the Monday Night Wars in 1997, when he aligned himself with Hollywood Hulk Hogan and the New World Order in WCW. He stepped into the ring for the first time at Bash at the Beach 1997, teaming with Hogan in a losing effort against Lex Luger and The Giant. One year later at the same event, Rodman returned for a high profile celebrity tag match, once again teaming with Hogan to defeat Karl Malone and Diamond Dallas Page in a bout that drew widespread mainstream attention.

He also played a key role at Road Wild 1997, appearing as the Impostor Sting and attacking Lex Luger with a baseball bat to help Hogan capture the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Rodman continued his run in WCW into 1999, where he entered a feud with Randy Savage that led to a match at Road Wild, though he came up short on that occasion.

Rodman made a surprise return to the wrestling spotlight in September 2023, appearing on AEW Collision where he aligned with The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn in the lead up to All Out.

Outside of wrestling, Rodman built a legendary career in basketball. He is a five time NBA Champion, winning titles with the Detroit Pistons in 1989 and 1990 before adding three more with the Chicago Bulls alongside Michael Jordan in 1996, 1997, and 1998. Known for his unmatched rebounding ability, he remains one of the most unique and celebrated figures in NBA history and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.

WrestleMania 42 is set to take place across April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bron Breakker Could Return Before WrestleMania 42

Bron Breakker Could Return Before WrestleMania 42

There is growing optimism within WWE that Bron Breakker could return to in-ring action ahead of WrestleMania 42, according to a report from WrestleVotes Radio.

A source from WWE television this week indicated that Breakker’s recovery is progressing well, and a return before WrestleMania 42 is being considered a realistic outcome. The report also stated that WWE already has creative plans prepared for Breakker if he receives medical clearance in time, showing that he has not been removed from the company’s WrestleMania direction despite his absence.

Breakker has been out of action since January after suffering a hernia during his last match at the Royal Rumble. The injury has kept him off WWE programming for close to two months during a key stretch leading into WrestleMania season.

His absence has been noticeable across WWE shows, including WWE RAW, where he had become a major presence. Prior to the injury, Breakker was positioned as one of the company’s top rising stars. He held the Intercontinental Championship before losing it to Penta and was involved in high-profile rivalries with Seth Rollins. He also stepped into the main event scene with a World Heavyweight Title challenge against CM Punk.

WWE’s decision to keep plans ready for Breakker highlights the level of confidence the company has in his future. Even while sidelined, he remains part of long-term creative discussions.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place on April 18 and April 19 at Allegiant Stadium. As of now, WWE has not made any official announcement regarding Breakker’s return or his potential involvement in the event.
