3/31 NXT Notes: Broadcast Issues on CW, New Matches Announced, Updated Stand & Deliver Lineup

3/31 NXT Notes: Broadcast Issues on CW, New Matches Announced, Updated Stand & Deliver Lineup

This week’s episode of WWE NXT on March 31 delivered several announcements ahead of Stand & Deliver, though not without some broadcast hiccups. The official NXT account confirmed on social media that certain markets experienced preemptions during the CW Network airing. WWE encouraged affected viewers to catch the replay or watch the episode on the CW app the following day, ensuring fans wouldn’t miss key developments heading into the premium live event.

Among the announcements made during the show, a Women’s WWE Speed Championship Tournament match was confirmed for next week’s post–Stand & Deliver episode of NXT. Lola Vice will face Jaida Parker and TNA’s Tegan Nox will take on SmackDown’s Candice LeRae in a first‑round tournament bout, adding cross‑brand intrigue to the growing Speed division.

General Manager Robert Stone also revealed that Eli Knight, Shiloh Hill, Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, and Wren Sinclair will team up to face Birthright in the Stand & Deliver pre‑show. The match continues the ongoing conflict between the rising NXT prospects and the dominant Birthright faction, setting the stage for a chaotic multi‑person showdown.

Additionally, a Women’s North American Championship match was confirmed for Stand & Deliver, with champion Tatum Paxley set to defend against Blake Monroe. The bout adds another title match to an already stacked card in St. Louis.

With all updates accounted for, the full lineup for NXT Stand & Deliver: St. Louis is as follows:

Pre‑Show

  • Shiloh Hill, Wren Sinclair, Eli Knight, Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. Birthright (Arianna Grace, Charlie Dempsey, Uriah Connors, Lexis King & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo)

Elio LeFleur Vacates Speed Championship

Elio LeFleur Vacates Speed Championship

Elio LeFleur is expected to miss significant time after revealing a serious shoulder injury during a backstage segment on the March 31 episode of WWE NXT on The CW. The update came during a scene featuring Hank and Tank, Eli Knight, Sean Legacy, and the reigning Men’s Speed Champion, who confirmed that he will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

The segment began with Sean Legacy offering an update on his own status, noting that his ankle injury is healing well and that he expects to be cleared within a few weeks. LeFleur then shifted the tone when he addressed his situation, explaining that he recently learned he has multiple tears in his shoulder. As a result, he will be out of action for approximately six months.

Because of the severity of the injury, LeFleur confirmed that he will relinquish the WWE Men’s Speed Championship. He noted that a tournament to crown a new champion will begin on the April 7 episode of NXT, setting the stage for a new titleholder to emerge while he recovers.

LeFleur’s injury occurred at a recent NXT live event, cutting short what was meant to be his first run as champion. He did not have the opportunity to defend the title before being forced to step away, making the setback especially disappointing for both LeFleur and fans who had been eager to see how he would establish himself in the division.

The Men’s Speed Championship has quickly become one of NXT’s most fast‑paced and competitive titles, and LeFleur’s absence opens the door for a wide range of contenders. With the tournament set to begin next week, the brand now shifts its focus to determining who will carry the division forward in LeFleur’s absence.

For now, LeFleur begins a lengthy recovery process, but his update made clear that he intends to return once he is fully healed. Until then, the Men’s Speed Title picture moves on without him — and the next chapter begins on April 7.

Dani Luna Leaves TNA Wrestling After Requesting Release

Dani Luna Leaves TNA Wrestling After Requesting Release

Dani Luna is officially finished with TNA Wrestling after requesting — and being granted — her release from the company. As of this past weekend, Luna is now a free agent and able to explore new opportunities across the wrestling landscape, marking the end of her most recent run with the promotion.

According to sources, the departure was handled professionally on both sides. There were no reports of issues, disagreements, or creative disputes leading to the split. Instead, the decision appears to have been an amicable one, with Luna choosing to move on and TNA respecting her request. In an industry where exits can sometimes be turbulent, the smooth nature of this transition stands out.

Luna’s final appearance for TNA came at Sacrifice on March 27, where she competed in a match involving Lei Ying Lee and reigning Knockouts Champion Arianna Grace. The bout now serves as her closing chapter with the company, bringing to an end a tenure that saw her contribute to the Knockouts division while continuing to build her profile internationally.

Her departure places her back on the open market at a time when the women’s wrestling scene is particularly active. Luna brings experience from multiple promotions, including her time in NXT UK, PROGRESS Wrestling, and various independent circuits. Her versatility — both as a singles competitor and as part of a tag team — makes her an appealing option for companies looking to strengthen their women’s divisions.

With her release now finalized, Luna is free to take bookings immediately. Whether she returns to the UK scene, explores opportunities in the United States, or tests the waters in Japan or Europe, she enters free agency with momentum and a growing fanbase. Given her track record and the current demand for experienced talent, it would not be surprising to see Luna surface in another major promotion sooner rather than later.

For now, her next move remains open-ended — but she leaves TNA on good terms and with plenty of possibilities ahead.

Kendal Grey And Lola Vice’s WWE NXT Women’s Title Contender Match Ends In Controversy

Tatum Paxley And Blake Monroe Set For WWE NXT Women’s NA Title Match

Tatum Paxley will defend her Women’s North American Championship against former champion Blake Monroe this weekend at “WWE NXT” Stand & Deliver.

Monroe appeared in the ring with the title belt she had stolen from Paxley, drawing the rightful champion out to confront her and make the challenge for Saturday’s event in St. Louis.

Monroe accepted the challenge before Paxley demanded her title back, to which Monroe declined. That started a tussle for the belt won out by Paxley sending Monroe out of the ring. But “The Glamour” managed to get her hands on the belt as she retreated.

Paxley won the title from Izzi Dame at Vengeance Day at the beginning of March, retaining it over Dame in a Steel Cage match on the March 17 episode of “NXT” to continue her title reign, and thus drawing the pursuit of former champion Monroe.

Monroe lost the North American title to Thea Hail in December in a finish that hadn’t been planned, spurring a feud between her and Hail that eventually passed onto Jaida Parker as Hail dropped the title to Dame; Monroe beat Parker in a Street Fight at Vengeance Day to clear her path back to the new champion, stealing the title from Paxley after attacking her following her cage match defense.
