Stephanie Vaquer is expected to return to WWE television in the near future, with new details indicating that creative discussions around her comeback have intensified over the past week.
According to a PWInsider, internal talks have included the possibility of Vaquer appearing on this coming Monday’s episode of RAW, which will take place at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. While nothing has been officially announced, her return is now considered a near-term creative priority rather than something set for a distant date.
This marks a shift from earlier updates regarding her injury timeline. Last month, WrestleVotes Radio reported that there was no confirmed return date internally, and that early expectations suggested she could be out for at least six weeks, though that estimate was described as speculative. At the time, there was some optimism that she could be ready in time for SummerSlam, but there were no guarantees.
Vaquer was written off television during the April 27 episode of RAW in a backstage attack involving Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, who were aligned with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. During the segment, Perez drove an equipment box into Vaquer’s shoulder, with commentary later confirming she had suffered a second-degree AC sprain. The injury was later confirmed as legitimate.
Due to the injury, WWE was forced to pull a planned Women’s World Championship match between Vaquer and Morgan from the Backlash card on May 9. There remains some uncertainty regarding when the injury originally occurred, as it is possible the backstage angle was designed to write her off television while incorporating the real injury into storyline plans.
Additional reports have indicated that Vaquer’s WrestleMania 42 match against Morgan, where she lost the Women’s World Championship, was shorter than originally planned due to both competitors dealing with physical issues heading into the event.
Vaquer’s title reign lasted 210 days after she captured the vacant championship by defeating Iyo Sky at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, 2025. With creative discussions now accelerating, her return to WWE programming appears to be approaching sooner than initially expected.
