Mark Davis captured the AEW National Championship on Saturday night after defeating Jack Perry at AEW Fairway to Hell. The victory marked Davis’ first singles championship win in AEW.

The championship match opened the show with Perry defending the AEW National title against Davis. For much of the contest, Perry appeared to have control before outside interference drastically changed the outcome.
Late in the match, Don Callis called in assistance from Ricochet, who rushed into the situation carrying a golf club. Ricochet then attacked Perry with the weapon, allowing Davis to capitalize on the chaos. Davis followed up by pinning Perry to officially win the AEW National Championship.
The title change immediately added more tension to the growing issues involving Perry, Ricochet, and the Don Callis Family heading into upcoming AEW events.
Later backstage, Callis and Davis met with Ricochet to discuss plans involving the Don Callis Family joining forces with Ricochet’s Demand faction for AEW Double or Nothing 2026.
Perry later responded by announcing that The Elite — consisting of Perry, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega — would also be involved at Double or Nothing.
The AEW National Championship itself was introduced in November 2025 and has already been defended across several promotions rather than remaining exclusive to AEW programming.
Ricochet became the inaugural champion after winning the title at AEW Full Gear 2025 and held the championship for 113 days.
Perry later captured the title during a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal at AEW Revolution 2026 before ultimately losing it to Davis at Fairway to Hell.
The championship victory further elevates Davis as a singles competitor while continuing the growing faction warfare surrounding the Don Callis Family and The Elite.
