TNA’s Matt Hardy Says He & Brother Jeff Have Signed Official WWE Merchandise Deal

The Hardy Boyz have returned to WWE as they are a part of the WWE 2K26 game, with Matt Hardy revealing that they have signed a merchandising deal.

Hardy recently stated on “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast that they have signed a deal with WWE to be a part of its WWE 2K26 video game and some future projects.

“The Hardys are back in WWE 2K26,” he said. “You know, we have signed an official merch deal with them. We should be in video games for a little while to come, it seems like, and it’s going to be hopefully an expanding deal. So, we’re hoping for a lot more outlets. And it’s been really cool, though.”

WWE 2K26 has a few special editions, one of which is an Attitude Era version, a time period where the Hardys emerged into the spotlight. Hardy stated that fans were clamoring for the duo to be a part of the game, and he is pleased with the feedback that they have received.

“And I know WWE had reached out to us and they were ecstatic with the feedback it got, and there’s a lot of people that have supported us for a very long time, especially with that Attitude Era game, they’re like, ‘Oh, come on. You got to have the Hardy Boys in it. They’re the guys who were like breaking tables and jumping off ladders and you got to have them.’ So it’s been a really overwhelmingly positive feedback. So that has been very, very good. So excited about that, man. I’m glad we got the opportunity to make it a reality.”

Matt and Jeff Hardy have been away from WWE for a few years now as they moved on to AEW and then later featured in TNA Wrestling following their WWE exit. TNA and WWE’s partnership brought them back to WWE, leading to them wrestling on “WWE NXT,” and those appearances could have paved the way for them to be included in the WWE 2K26 game.

Chuck Norris, MMA Icon And Actor, Dies At Age 86

Chuck Norris has died aged 86, as confirmed by his family on Instagram.

Norris was known best in the worlds of martial arts and acting, and he served as a special outside enforcer at WWE Survivor Series 1994. Prior to his Hollywood career, Norris spent time serving as an airman in the United States Air Force.

After his service, he went on to win several championships and founded his own discipline, Chun Kuk Do. And as a black belt in Karate, Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Judo, he went on to train Hollywood stars in martial arts, appearing in a minor role in “The Wrecking Crew” in 1968 to kick start an acting career that spanned decades. Norris became synonymous with strength and premiership for many, with his name becoming something of an adjective specifically in sports circles.

Norris was only celebrating his 86th birthday on Thursday in Hawaii, shown to be sparring with his friend. But reports emerged later to say he had been hospitalized following an undisclosed medical emergency, and had said at the time he was in good spirits.

His family announced on Friday morning that he had died.

“It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace. To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. As we grieve his loss, we kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time. Thank you for loving him with us,” the post read on Instagram.

Wishing condolences for the family and friends of Chuck Norris, and may he rest in peace.

WWE Star Oba Femi Admits To Ric Flair Homage

WWE’s Oba Femi has discussed the origins of his entrance strut, stating that it’s a slight variation of Ric Flair’s iconic strut.

Oba Femi, in quick time, has become a beloved figure for the WWE fans, and one of the aspects of his character that has caught on with the fans is his walk to the ring. The former WWE NXT Champion, in a recent interview with Stephanie McMahon on the “What’s Your Story?” podcast, said that he borrowed some elements of Flair’s walk, while adding his own spin to it.

“I mean, it’s kind of like a twist on, you know, Ric Flair [strut]. It’s a different one. I’ve made it more modern. There’s more arm action, more shoulders,” he said. “It’s catching fire right now. I really should start a TikTok ’cause it’s going crazy on there. So I mean, a lot of people ask me how I do the strut. It is just, there’s a lot of shoulder motion. It’s all in the shoulders. People think it’s just arm. It’s shoulders.”

The main roster audience saw Femi’s walk for the first time at the Royal Rumble, where he competed in the men’s Royal Rumble match. He admitted that he was a bit apprehensive before the match, as he was unsure whether the crowd in Saudi Arabia would know his entrance and the chants that usually go with it, but was glad that they delivered on what he hoped for.

“I was really hoping the Saudi crowd would be on board with the chants and you know, shout out to Saudi. They were there. I felt the energy, you know, long ramps [had to take] bigger steps. Much bigger steps, more shoulders, you know, in there than usual,” he said. “Very awesome entrance that day.”

Femi will get to showcase his strut at an even bigger audience — perhaps the biggest of his career — at WrestleMania 42, where he will come up against Brock Lesnar.

Tom Brady Says Nobody In ‘Cute And Scripted’ WWE Could Sack Him, Wrestlers Respond

Over the past few months, Tom Brady has not shied away from taking jabs at the wrestling industry, having viewed it as inferior to other sports, including his former profession, American football. However, on Thursday, Brady took things to a new level during an interview with “Sports Illustrated” by poking fun at the scripted nature of the business.

“All their stuff is so cute and scripted and they know what’s going on. In a football game you don’t know it. So they wouldn’t even get me. Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they’d punch those guys right in the throat and they’d be probably crying and there’s no fake B.S we do in American football. So for those guys, it’d be a whole different story.”

Many within WWE responded to Brady’s comments on social media, including two of the company’s most successful women’s stars, Charlotte Flair and The Bella Twins.

Danhausen, who just signed with WWE last month and made his debut at the Elimination Chamber, also took to X to comment on Brady’s remarks.

Despite Brady being negative towards professional wrestling, it was reported earlier this month that the former NFL Quaterback has been in talks with WWE about appearing at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas this coming April. Brady and his former New England Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski specifically ridiculed WWE star Logan Paul three weeks ago, calling him just an entertainer and a “b***h, leading there to be speculation that both men would step inside the ropes at WrestleMania. That said, it’s also been reported that Brady will likely make an appearance, but not wrestle at the event.

MVP Provides Update On AEW Contract Status Of Himself And Shelton Benjamin

Some AEW stars have jumped back to WWE after their stint with Tony Khan’s promotion, but Shelton Benjamin and MVP will not follow in that path, with MVP revealing that they have signed an extension on their deal.

MVP recently stated in an interview with “Entertainment Escape” that the Hurt Syndicate is pleased to be a part of AEW. He disclosed that he and Benjamin will continue to hurt the rest of the locker room for some time to come, as they recently extended their deal with the promotion.

“Just know that the Hurt Syndicate is not going anywhere. As a matter of fact, Shelton and I signed contract extensions not that long ago. So, we’ll be around kicking ass and not even bothering to take names for some time to come. In terms of what we’ll be doing, we’ll just keep it simple. We will continue to hurt people,” he said.

MVP is seemingly loving his time in AEW alongside Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, and is delighted to be able to talk trash and get paid for it while his friends do his bidding.

“I tell people all the time that I’ve got the best job in the world. My friends beat people up, and I talk about it. Like, Sheldon and Bobby are legitimately two of my closest friends. We’re like brothers. We’re business partners. So, I just get to make a whole lot of money hanging out with my friends. Well, what better job could you possibly have? You get paid a lot to just hang out with your friends. So, it’s been awesome that we’ve been able to keep the story going, so to speak. AEW has been a great experience for us. You know, Tony Khan’s a great guy to work for, and we’re having a really good time.”

MVP, the voice of the Hurt Syndicate, was the first member of the group to debut in AEW, when he featured on Grand Slam in September 2024, before quickly being joined by Benjamin and Lashley.
